Was using a name brand iron supplement. The doctor told me to purchase iron over counter. Found that these iron supplement performance better than name brand counterparts. Recommend this iron supplement.
Has increased my low iron test results.. my doctors are happy with the results.. the only drawback is iron side effects...but that's all brands..
works just as good as the higher priced
Spring Valley Iron Tablets seem to do the job. I started them because I was Anemic. After just 3 months, without a diet change or any other changes besides taking the Iron Tablets, I am not Anemic! My doctor was quite impressed! I recommend this product to anyone.
Helps rebuild your system and strength after surgery.
I was told I had anemia at the hospital and I started taking these iron pills. (65mg) until I got my iron levels back to normal. I take a lesser dose of this same brand here and there to keep my iron levels at a normal level. I wouldn't recommend you take this unless you were directed to by a doctor or know for sure you have an iron deficiency. Cheap, great value and they work!
these are nice and small.. seemingly smaller than any other iron pill.. and i usually get the same brand.. anyway.. i have a problem with swallowing pills and these are super easy to swallow..
was badly deficient it and it helped me get to normal
My loved one suffered iron toxicity from taking this. Iron suppliments should be treated with extreme caution. Only use as directed by a doctor. The only healthy people who can take iron suppliments safely (I have since read) are premenopausal women (because the period helps regulate iron levels). It's much safer to be deficient in iron than to have too much, if you think you need iron suppliments get blood work from a doctor and take their advice based on the results (in my unprofessional opinion).
I take this because my iron is low but won't know if its done any good until I have a blood test.
