I purchased this product so my wife could use my old iPhone 4 without paying the high cost for data. The SIM fit perfectly and the online activation was very simple. I found a video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOlAmneoLHw) for setting up the APN settings and had it up and running in no time. So far so good!

It was very straightforward. I went online and followed the directions and then inserted the chip on a Friday night and by the following Saturday morning my number had already ported over and I was making and recieving calls. I am very impressed by this service. The service seems to be identicle to my ATT service. Same amount of bars and 4G LTE service too.

Why use a regular phone with a fantastic service?

Yes Straight talk offers all kinds of the flagship phones, and yes you can have your iPhone or Galaxy built with Straight Talk inside... but why use such conventional ways with such an unconventional service? Get this SIM card and use it on almost ANYTHING you can think of... I mean you can buy all kinds of phones on the web these days and some cost less than the price of a dinner out, but have twice the form and function. You can buy a watch that is also a phone, you can buy a compact phone with tiny little buttons, or you can have a huge Phone tablet or phablet and really take your all in one with you in style like I do... there are many phones you can buy right here in the US that are over 6 inches but on the web there are larger ones you can buy I think they top out at 10 inches or more... these are phones as well as devices that you do your every day tasks with, why bring more than one thing with you? You can use this SIM card in anything that will make a call (So sorry no 3G devices or modems) but why need the modem when you can buy things like the PadFone that starts out as a huge phone, then turns into a tablet, then that turns into a laptop... all ran on the Straight Talk network... You told your self when you joined straight talk that they can't lock you into a contract so why be locked into a phone type? Be 100% free like me and use anything you want that will take a SIM card and be who you truly are... YOURSELF I am not an iphone, nor am I a Galaxy... there are so many choices out there find yourself in them.... heck with the money you save with Straight Talk you can buy all kinds of devices that you can use every day... all you have to do is switch the SIM card and its working... no need to call the company it will just work (as long as you have your APN settings, but after you put in the APN settings once its the same on most devices... super easy and only like 3 lines of text) This review has been written as part of a deed for the Straight Talk Rewards Club but all opinions are my own. I have to write a review for this product! I have an iphone 4S. Just recently it was removed from contract due to a breakup and therefore I could not get permission to have it unlocked. I got this card and put it in following a youtube video, got online and registered it and bought new minutes and voila!!! I have my iphone with unlimited web, texting and minutes!!! SOOO happy!!!

I got this for my At&t Samsung Galaxy S3, and it actually worked. Got to switch it from At&t to Straight Talk, from paying $70 a month to just $45 a month, with unlimited EVERYTHING. It has great service, and I get 4G pretty much eveverywhere. I would highly reccommend this to anyone.

After stalking walmarts everywhere including online I finally found the micro sim required for the pantech burst AT&T phone. I received it within two days and it works fine after I updated my apn settings. Now I am so happy with my fast 4g on a cheaper bill every month.

Works well with AT&T, just need MMS Capability

So far we are happy with the phone, data and text service. Setup was easy and we even received a call from Straight Talk to make sure that the service was working properly after we ported our number. We activated the card and initiated the port process and received a call within minutes telling us that the process was complete. The only issue that we have is the inability to set up MMS/Picture Messages on the iPhone, due to an issue with settings that are inaccessible when using an AT&T compatible SIM card. There is a possible work around using a SIM card from another carrier to 'trick' the phone into thinking it is on a network that allows access to these settings... We are waiting on that SIM card now (bought on EBay on $3), and we'll see if we can use that to work around Apple/AT&T security. If not for that one issue, I would give 5 Stars to this product.

Extra $49.10 Fee on Last Step of Activation of Sim

The 1 main problem I had when getting this was the last step during activation of the Sim card. Once I got to the last step it gave a $49.10 charge for 1 time activation fee I would assume it was for while not being able to complete this last step without paying the UNKNOWN $49.10. So on top of Paying $15 for the Sim Card, Another $48.15 for the $45 unlimited card I also was unknowingly having to pay Another $49.10 for whatever the fee was during activation. I think that was totally ridiculous. However, once all was paid and once I activated the Sim Card all I did was put it in my AT&T Pantech Burst P9070 boot the phone up, and away I've been going ever since. I even noticed that the 4g signal pics up in some areas where I live which is real nice for me to be able to watch netflix on the phone during my lunch break.

Bought this to get out of ATT. The item itself is not really an issue, but costumer service was really bad. I read all the reviews on customer service before I bought this and decided to switch, but it seemed they had resolved their issues. Just not the case. I have had the sim card in for a week now and I am still waiting on a replacement sim card since this one appears to be defective. This was after a couple of hours at least on the phone and being transferred to only being disconnected. I even asked at one point to not be transferred to another department and wanted to speak with the operators supervisor. Told me he would transfer me to him and was promptly disconnected. I would give this one star, but finally, the last person I spoke to seemed to have resolved my issues and quite honestly, I find the carriers like ATT to be too much. I stuck it out with them for years and in the end, they couldn't offer me anything close.

The web info seems vague. I bought a couple of these and ended up returning them. You need the activation kit. You can buy the kit on line for about $15. Here's the deal, in store you get the activation Kit for $60 which includes the $45 minute card plus the $15 activation kit, which includes 4 sims. In other words, you get the sims free making this item useless and unnecessary, not to mention useless without the other two necessary components. That said, I think ST is great!
