I love this tub, perfect for small babies. My daughter was born at 4lb 14oz and she fits perfectly. I use it in the tub or sink. It's very easy to clean. I just wash it off and hang it up to dry. It dries very quickly. I would definitely recommend this to others.
With my first daughter I had the tub with all the bells & whistles. It was a pain to fill, use, & empty. The bigger my daughter grew the less we used it & finally just got a pad for her to sit on for traction. We don't leave our kids alone in the bath when they are small enough to need baths or cushions & I have found this is all that's needed. It holds them securely & comfy. Plus you just hang it in the tub & that's all the clean up needed, which is always a plus when time & hands are in short supply.
I have a 3month old and used one of those bulky plastic infant tubs, my daughter would have screaming fits in it. Then i purchased one of those bath hammocks and she also hated it. This infant tub is AWESOME! She absolutely loves it! Its almost like a bean bag material so she sinks in it and looks very comfortable. It also floats on top of the water so the water is surrounding her keeping her warm. I can't say enough good things. I did a lot of research and reading reviews before i purchased this and some say it is hard to dry. If you ring out all the water after each use and hang to dry you wont have any problems with drying it. It does actually dry fairly quickly and is small enough to bring with you on trips and also it folds! This bath is PERFECT! I highly recommend!
I purchased the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders tub for my baby before I gave birth, I thought the hammock would be perfect for a brand new baby...I was wrong. It's not designed for small babies. My daughter would slouch down to the end of the hammock and she wasn't heavy enough to reach the water in the tub. We both hated it. I saw this bath support in another store and scooped it right up! It has an absorbent material where the baby lays, that holds on to the warm bathwater so the baby is kept warm and content while being bathed. It's so much easier than trying to hold a squirmy, slippery baby! Definitely a great buy!!!
this is a great bather, the beans in the bather soak up the warm water and help keep the baby warm. i think it would be better if there were a few different adjustment settings on the back for height, the "up" position is too high for our newborn and flat lets the water get in her ears when im rinsing her hair, over all its a great bather im very glad we purchased. (the discription says this works in sinks, unfortunately it is too big for ours and will not work.)
I wish I would have had this with my boys it is great. so cozy for baby and safe. Im not worried about her slipping or falling off it because she kind of sinks into the bean bag like material. Love it! love it! love it!
The baby is 3 months old now and she has loved having a bath in this cushion tub every single time. It's filled with these foam beads so it takes the shape of the baby and it holds some water so the baby stays warm but not enough water so the baby is safe and will not submerge. I took off the metal part of it because it made some marks on the tub from it rubbing and I didn't find the propping up of the baby necessary. After the bath it folds in half and it can be hung to dry. Wish this product was around for my other kids, very nice.
great alternativ to an infant bathtub. we dont have the space for an infant bathtub and this is great. my daughter loved it so much she actually fell asleep during her first bath. she was six pounds when we first used it and the chair floated on top of the water. it dries great and i can hang it on the towel rack to store it.
I purchased this because i loved the pink and thought it would be nice for my daughter its very squishy the thing i do not like about it is the bottom part lifts and floats i ended up using one of those hard bath tubs some one gave me because everytime i gave her a bath it would float and she didnt look to comfortable ans while giving her a bath the water does not enter the pad but it absorbs it so when washing her the suds would stay in the pad
i bought this bathtub so i would be able to bathe my daughter in the sink when she was just a newborn, and therefore too small to fit in a big tub. anyways, i read on the product description that it was only 14 inches long- so i thought it would fit into my sink perfectly. well i brought it home and it was definately NOT 14 inches long- more like 20. this thing was so bulky in my sink that there was no way to bathe her in our sink. however, the design is very cute and the material seems durable enough, so it would work great if you werent planning on bathing your child in the sink- unless your sink isn't a double. overall, i would recommend this product, just know that it's bigger than you think!
