This is the filter I need for my humidifier. I use about 1 a month during the winter season in New Hampshire. I enjoy ordering them online because I know they work, the price is okay and I don't have to hunt around various stores to find them. I stock-up for the year so I always have one ready. I will reorder a supply for next year.
We've had other humidifiers and this is the best of them all. It puts more moisture in the air and we burn wood so it really dries the air out. It works terrific and they last really well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is the third one I have ordered. They can be hard to install. I recommend shaping with the top plastic piece - both top and bottom of the filter. They can fit easy then. I will use at least two per season. watch for mold.
Have been searching for these filters for quite some time. They are the best ones I have used in my humidifer. Last a long time and this saves you $$$$.
This is a good product that is very satisfying. It is reliable.
The filter performs well; however, the plastic stiffener appears to dissolve and become weak, no longer functioning as intended, after a while. As I recall, that component used to be made of metal, which held up much better.
Only critique is the unavailability of this product on store shelf. Appears will always have to order for store pickup. Not a big deal but does add addional steps to purchase process due to nonstocking on store shelves. This was first time experience with store nonstokcing. Looked on shelves at 3 different Walmarts before diciding wasn't a shelf stock item, which took a lot of extra time and expense. Then the online order/delivery process added to extra delay to the whole experience.
Only kind that I can find to fit my humidifier. Just wish they had them in store.
I purchased this for my older humidifier and am having a problem making it fit. I am sure with a little "elbow grease" it will finally fit and let me use the machine. This is the first time I have had to replace the filter after several years of use so am happy about their durability
It comes in a box where the filter isn't circular when it comes out. You need to push it into the proper form. It is missing any hair and other filtration that is standard with the original filter. I installed it but I'm immediately ordering the proper filter from the manufacturer. I'm disappointed I wasted my money on this one.
