We bought this for our granddaughters 1st BD. Saw a 18 month little boy in one @ a local campground swimming area. Inquired about it w/his grandmother & after hearing her testimonial & seeing how much her grandson enjoyed it... we decided to order one. Our grandbaby loves it & our daughter is very pleased w/it also. Was an easy assemble product & well made, affordable and plus it frees up one hand so our daughter doesn't have to hold on to her baby w/ both of her hands. We highly recommend this product & would purchase another one if any other grandchildren are born.
This is a great product. We did not put the stickers on since we read reviews that they come off. We bought this for our grandson. He is 3 1/2 months old. We have a pool and wanted something that would support him safer in the water than just some thing that inflates. We put a beach towel behind him to help support him since he can't sit up on his own and it works great. He loves playing with the steering wheel and the toys on the sides. I highly recommend this product.
This is the 2nd tugboat I've purchased. I bought the first one 19 years ago for my first grandchild and now this one for latest addition to the family. This is a very safe device which allow baby to be a part of all the pool fun. I considered the inflatable devices but didn't feel comfortable that they wouldn't tip over. Well worth the difference in price for the peace of mind! Definately recommend
I love this boat! 14 years ago I bought a similar one for another grandson. He loved it, so I thought the newest little grandson should get one for his first birthday. This one is every bit as nice as the other. Very durable, no worries about it tipping or sinking. Although we had a little trouble trying to get the sunshade attached just right, it does offer good protection from the sun. The seat height can be easily adjusted so the boat can continue to be used as the baby grows. I would definitely recommend this boat to others.
This is a million times better than the inflatable floats. Sturdy product that will grow with my child!
This Rescue Boat needed no assembly (other then the canopy) so was ready to use upon opening. This was a gift for a 2 year old so I was concerned it would be to small but much to our happiness she had no problems fitting into it and since the seat pouch is adjustable she will be able to use it for a few seasons. Good value and quality
My 18 month old daughter loves her boat. I love that it is completely stable & I can swim along side her without having to be concerned with it flipping. I didn't give it a 5 star review because the canopy is pretty much useless since it does not cover the seat area properly. But the boat itself is 5 stars.
I bought this product for my son who is 10 months old. He fits in the 2nd setting, which is great because that gives him a little room to grow. The frustrating part about this is that my husband was putting on the canopy and it broke. He is going to be able to salvage it but still frustrating that before we even used the product it broke.
the Swimways Rescue Boat with Canopy is cute, but not all parts are durable. I put it in the pool and after being in the water about 15 minutes, the white plastic pole that holds the canopy up cracked and broke off. It no longer works, so the canopy is useless.
We bought this for vacation but didn't use it. We ended up buying a $3 inflatable-plastic-tube that had the same seat as this did! I contacted “SwimWays” customer service and was told they didn't have interchangeable parts-- so you can never use it if the seat tears! We spent $60 after tax (too much) and were expecting a good quality seat made of durable fabric or at least mesh. Instead, it is made of cheap, thin plastic that could tear easy after being in the sun or trying to get a skinny 9-month-old in/out. We will be returning this because of the seat only. If the seat were made of fabric, then we would keep it. The rest of it seems nice but very disappointing if you can only use it once if the seat tears!
