Im super happy with this knife set. The knives are excellent quality and cut beautifully. Theyre also super easy to clean. The set also includes a handy guide to explain how to use each knife as well as a variety of colored handles. I would highly recommend.
I was very impressed with the quality and and durability of the Tasty 4 Piece Utility Knife Set. There is a knofe for ebery kitchen cutting need. From onions to potatoes, and chicken and beef. Slicing, pairing, and dicing. These knives can do it all. They are colorful and easy to hold for quick precise cut. I would definitely recommend this product to all my friends and family.
This little set is perfect for a beginner just starting out in the kitchen these four knives can pretty much do any task needed. They are very sturdy and light making them very easy to maneuver over so many different things. I loved the fun little pops in my kitchen of color. I plan to buy another set of these for my niece who is getting her first place soon. These are sharp and perfect for all the cutting needs I have ever had.
It took me a while to have the need to try each knife, but I wanted to have a honest review so I wanted to try them all before posting my review of them. I'll start with the one thing I am not the biggest fan of - these knives suggest you to hand wash them and not throw them in the dishwasher. I'm a busy mom and having to hand wash certain items can be a small headache to me. I did not try to put them in the dishwasher but I imagine they might get discolored and not look as great. I really like each of the handles, they are rubberized giving you a great grip. I like the variety of the knives - it truly gives you a knife for almost every occasion. The knives each work very well for their intended purpose. My favorite is the bread knife. I've never had one of these style knives before and as silly as it seems this knife actually really is helpful. The colors are really cute and add a little fun to your kitchen. I really like these knives and if they were dishwasher safe they would be next level!
Need a set of cute and sharp knives but don't need the big block or a bunch of random knives you'll never use? This is awesome for me. A basic set for everything I need. No.fluff just sharp knives. I've used the bread knife only a couple times but the tomato knife and the pairing knife are being used almost daily. They're showing no signs of wear and are just as sharp as they were to begin with. Great colors too.
Who knew that there were so many different knives for different uses!? These colorful Tasty knives do just that! What a cute set of knives that are for four different things! These would make for a great wedding or housewarming present, in my opinion. The only thing that I now need to find is something to hold and display them! The green knife is a paring knife to slice up fruits and veggies to your heart's content; the red knife is appropriate color for the tomato knife to easily pierce the sides of fruits and veggies while allowing a slight forked tip to raise up the skin; the blue rounded knife is a sandwich knife! This particular light blue sandwich knife cuts through bread or meats easily and can also spread the condiments! Last but not least, the dark blue knife is the utility knife for pretty much everyday cutting! These come already pre-sharpened and are definitely ready to go out of the container. I love the Tasty line as it is affordable yet of great quality! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves being in the kitchen and needs some nice cutlery! Make sure you dry as soon as washing them with mild detergent soap and warm water as they can rust.
I really enjoy using these bright, colorful knives! Prior to these knives, I used a knife block set from the same brand and have been very impressed with the quality and performance. What I really enjoy about the block knife set is that it came with a sticker that could be placed on the back of the block for quick reference regarding each knife and it's purpose. On the back of the packaging of this 4 piece knife set is a “know your knife” guide. It briefly explains each knife's purpose. I cut it out and put it in the kitchen drawer with theses knives in case I need to reference it. As far as performance, these knives do their job well. They're durable and built well, and I love the pops of color on the handles! This is a very functional, practical set to have for everyday foods, and the quality makes me confident that these knives will last a while!
These knives are cute, the colored parts are rubber, the black parts are plastic. They feel good in the hand and they cut really well. I don't know if they require resharpening or not. They are not dishwasher safe, however, they don't claim to be. So you must hand wash. I ran 1 knife through the dishwasher and it's now rust-stained. It's my fault, but it's really surprising that these rust that fast. The green knife is a paring knife. It's sharp and works well. The red knife is a "supposed tomato slicer with serving forked tip. Nice feature, but the knife blade is so thick that it isn't good for tomato slicing at all. This tore up the skin edges of my tomatoes. This was crazy to me. Did anyone actually test this thing on a tomato? This knife is designated for tomatoes and it rips the skin up, creating a wavy edge to the slice of the tomato. I've never experienced this with any knife, slicing any tomato....was really weird. So, no I will not be using this for tomatoes. The light blue knife is pretty great. It's ideal for spreading mayo/miracle whip on bread and then cutting it afterwards. This is my new BLT knife of choice. :) The dark blue knife is a utility knife and works great for everything from celery, onions, etc...NOT good enough to handle potatoes or carrots. Now about the warranty: What is questionable, is that if you have to utilize the warranty, you have to not only mail the knives yourself to them, you also have to include $8 for return postage. You could mail these and more in a $7 USPS Priority Mail Box. Not only that, this set is $8.44. Just buy yourself another set if you have a problem, otherwise you'll spend a minimum of $15 only to hope they honor the warranty. That's messed up to me. Because of that, I had to dock a star. Overall, good set, feels good, looks good, works good. Not dishwasher safe, ridiculous warranty and limited in ability to slice tomatoes, potatoes and carrots.

The blades on these knives are very sharp, so be careful using them. How to clean them is with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, dry immediately. Do not soak, hand wash only. These knives are a very handy essential tool fir any kitchen, an absolute must have.
