I recently tried the Tums Smoothies and I have to say they are pretty great. They are not hard and chalky like some antacids are. Within seconds after taking 2 of them my heartburn was gone. They taste pretty good for an antacid. I would recommend them to anyone work occasional heartburn. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love the smoothies line! They are tasty, a lot less chalky, and they work quickly. I don't have heartburn on a daily basis, but it is good to know that I can count on Tums to do the job.
Tums Smoothies are just one of those medicine cabinet must haves for when a little something is needed to calm heartburn or an uneasy stomach feeling. Smoothies get right to work and taste good while doing the job. Soft enough to dissolve in your mouth with no chalky taste.
The tums smoothi flavors is the best brand for heart burn. I had heart burn while pregnant the whole time and these tums are the only thing that kept me going for the whole nine months. It works like magic. You put a tablet in your mouth and the heart burn goes away instantly. Like magic. I will never buy another brand of heart burn medication again. Also, the smoothie flavors makes it even better. They taste like im eating candy not medicine. Thank godness because i would have gagged when pregnant having it taste like any kind of meds. I had to stop taking Nexium because it prevents your body from absorbing important nutrients like iron, calcium, etc. I had a severe iron deficiency and the hematologist stopped it right away. Now my iron is fine and when I do have heart burn I take Tums. I prefer the Tums Smoothies because they're less gritty but I'm fine with the regular too. Good flavor and do the trick quickly. Obviously if it's a constant issue, have to consult a doctor but these work well 1x/day.
This brand is not only yummy but works great. It's not the chalky flavor of olden days. We always make sure our medicine cabinet is stocked with it.
Tums Smoothies Assorted Fruit are an improvement over previous Tums products I have used. They are bigger around but thinner which makes them easier to dissolve, they almost melt in your mouth. The fruity flavors are great, not too potent but not too mild. They still have a slight chalky taste but it is very minimal, and they do not leave an aftertaste in my mouth. I am not on a gluten-free diet but I do try to limit my gluten. I appreciate that these are gluten-free and a great source of calcium too! Recently I started experiencing heartburn and this was the first product that was recommended to me so decided to give it a buy and a try and I did and I like them very much.
These Tums Smoothies are nice and soft, kind of melt in your mouth. Making it easier to get the Tums down quicker! These are just as effective as the regular! A must have purse-companion & medicine cabinet staple for all households!
