Are of plastic and can be put in the dishwasher to be cleaned. All the openings helps the hair to dry faster.
These were for my mother in a nursing home .She has very thin hair and these rollers work well for her
I love these curlers. They stay put and the curls hold up for a couple days.
Did not like them at all. Too short and didn't like the cap that you put over them to hold them in
