I love how this tv stand looks. It's very contemporary and looks awesome with the audio/media stand. You really can't beat the price for what you get. It's versatile...can be used as a tv stand, coffee table, or for end-of-the-bed storage. A very functional, yet stylish piece. It took a while to put together, but that is to be expected. I would highly recommend this set. Definitely get the matching furniture and you will have a gorgeous space!!!! :)
This is a very heavy, sturdy piece of furniture. I put it together by myself and I had a little trouble with the drawers, other than that, I LOVE THIS! It can be used as a coffee table if you have the right height couch, but, I am using it as a TV and entertainment table. I is great to put movies in the drawers and toys in the other side. It holds 4 medium sized components like a PS3, DVD player, cable/sat. box and a Surround sound receiver. It is gorgeous!
I bought two of these TV Stands (through Site-to-Store) to house our two flat-panel televisions. They are just beautiful! Clean lines and a wonderful deep dark chocolate/espresso brown color. Pretty easy to put together. Took about 1.5 hours to put both together. The Site-to-Store option saved me $100 in shipping!! Well worth it!
This is the best value you'll find. It was easy to put together and looks very nice!!! We put our 42'' tv on the stand and it's just the right size. The top of the stand did come with a corner slightly squished but you can hardly notice, unless you stare directly at it, there was an option to call for a new one but we opted not to since we needed the stand right away. A very good value for the price!
this is sturdy piece of furniture. but u have to be careful not to chip the wood. aslo some of the pieces came cracked but you can call and get them replaced. overall this is a good product and would buy it again.
I bought this and the media tower to furnish my painting studio, and they are very accomodating. I am going to buy another TV stand today to stack on the first for additional storage. A WARNING - THE DRAWERS AT THE BOTTOM ARE NOT AS BIG AS THEY SEEM. Across the front they are about 20 inches wide, but they are only 9 inches deep. If you assemble according to the directions, they only slide out half-way - giving you about 4 inches to stick your hand in and out. My husband is still fiddling with the drawer adjustments to see if he can make them work better.
After dealing with FedEx Ground for a week trying to get the packaged delivered, it finally arrived but several parts were damaged, especially the corners. I had to re-order with the product company and waiting for new delivery. Overall the stand looks nice and is easy to put together.
This is a pretty good tv stand at a great price. It holds my Sony 40" Bravia TV along with my cable box and Playstation 3. The drawers are not very deep and only really suitable for holding dvds, cd, etc. It took me a little longer than I would have expected to put together. Overall I would definately recommend this product if your looking for a great tv stand at an unbeatable price.
The stand is a great value. The assembly wasn't anything to worry about. Even the drawer slides were straight forward. Take your time and look at each piece to determine the assembly steps. Then just follow the directions. As for the initial inspection of the pieces, we had several pieces that were very slightly damaged. Looked like it happened during the manufacture process, not the shipping. You can get replacement parts easy enough or do like we did and just dress up the scratches with a Sharpie and go on. Fortunately for us, these were small and in easily hidden places. Although, I did scratch the front of one of the drawers and carefully used a Sharpie there and you can't tell it even on your hands and knees. We like it well enough to order the matching Tower/BookShelf. If it is as nice as the TV Stand, we'll order another Tower/Book Shelf for the other side. As for the style, it can easily go Modern or Asian. Our living room is in an Asian theme and it looks great! Exceptional Value, Fairly easy to assembly and Looks great! Buy it, put it together and enjoy it. Anything else. just remember you paid about $100.00 bucks for it! Want better, spend more money!
I purchased this and used the Site to Store option and picked it up from the local store. When I got it home and started putting it together, I noticed there were a few edges of the shelves that had been slightly crushed to damage the edge of the shelves, but because it is dark wood, not very noticable. There was no way I would take the heavy thing back to the store with my bad back! It's a great value and gets the job done. I am using it to hold up my new 47" Phillips LCD TV. The drawers only pull out so much, but I do like that behind the drawers I am able to hide my battery backup for my cable modem / router.
