didn't have to got to town to walmart and stand in a line or even get an associate to check me out in electronics. in app was not even 7 minutes from opening the app pulling up the top up card and checking out. fast convinient
i only got to use one line of service the 2nd one expired and Walmart Family Mobile will not give me a refund or a new service pin for my second line
the customer service is the absolute worst in the in the industry. switch if you can. They can't switch me internally.. from one email to the next. Holding several payments over at my old email account and making me pay new fees and plans to keep my phone number.
I purchased a Samsung phone and had it delivered from store to my home. When I tried to activate the phone it could not be processed due to not being checked out correctly. I was told to go to the store and have Customer Service scan the barcode. Customer Service (CS) sent me to Electronics for the scan to be performed. Electronics said only CS was able to do it. Went back to CS and after 2 hours, including waiting in line, was told to return the phone for refund. The money for returning the phone would be credited to my account. The phone could not be accepted for return/refund due to not being in system as sold. I was told to call 1-800-WALMART and situation would be resolved. I was told to take the phone and the information provided by 800... to CS at the store. I went to the store and was told to contact the 800... office, as only they had the ability to help. After three weeks of this back and forth with the store, telephone calls, text messages and several emails a FedEx shipping label was provided for returning to facility in Nevada. The CSR told me to send the phone and refund would be credited to my account within 3 to 10 days after arriving at Nevada. Tracking %23 shows receipt by LV, Nevada center 2:00PM Jan 17. The calendar now shows Feb 22 and still no decision on refund. The amount of $110 has not been applied to my account and no one seems to care. Buyer Beware.
I couldn't get this to work and it is non refundable. I tried online chat twice and the chat was disconnected. I called and the rep said the system was down and then he hung up. I tried several email addresses but they were undeliverable. I have lost my money on this.
I usually use this walmart account to purchase a top up. My inconvenience happened when I added a newly opened credit card under my name to this walmart account around 4 months ago. And after that, walmart kept cancelling my order. I had to chat with their cs to just for the next transaction to go through. I attempted to go just use my old credit card but it kept happening. CS said my account was flagged. Flagged for what? They can't even resolve the auto-cancel issue with this account. I have been purchasing family mobile top ups for more than a year already and this amount is not even that big purchase. Hey walmart, don't you guys experience getting a new credit card? Instead of catering to customers, you are chasing customers away. Anyway, there are other merchants with better services and better customer service. Well, that's your sinking business. Good bye!

Bought this to use as hotspot for internet. No signal at all at home for internet connection or for 2 phones on the plan. Advertising for this product said T mobile network would cover area where I live. Not true. Walmart would not refund for the plan even though it does not work. So I am out $79 and very unhappy. Do not buy unless you can confirem ahead of time that the plan will work in your area.
I bought a Walmart plan iPhone and two lines as I already had an iPhone. The online directions to activate are so convoluted I couldn't figure it out. I called the number for help and they could not help me as it's clear the representatives are in another country (outsourced). I went back to Walmart two different days for help….and was actually told by one phone rep the plan is garbage! Neither rep on either day WOULD not could help me. They tried to sell me a different phone plan instead! IF YOU BUY THIS PLAN BE PREPARED FOR A HEADACHE ACTIVATING IT.
