Great amount of storage for the price. If using for an Xbox x/s, only certain games will function on external storage. The games that have to run on internal storage will work on an expansion card. Luckily Ark: Survival Evolved and Minecraft work on external storage on this. I store some games and the apps (Netflix, Disney , etc.) on this game drive.
works as described. i am able to save my game to it and not have to worry about not having enough room on my PS4.
It fits perfectly behind where I keep my ps5 and it holds enough games I can put a third of my library of over 300 games on it easily and all it took was me plugging it in
Great drive, good price -picked up some external storage for my big files and my PS5 games. It's not very fast, uses the old style usb 3.0 custom toshiba type connector. But it's competent and roomy for the price! WD has been a reliable brand for me so 4 stars, thanks to them! Had to wait half an hour in the parking lot because walmart pick up center refused to answer the phone (we have to park in the parking lot to pick up items ordered online! what a pain in the butt, won't make that mistake again). Not even christmas frenzy yet and walmart is really dropping the ball. I want to like them, really but it's getting harder and harder.
It does the job, the only thing I noticed that it takes incredibly long to open games if they are saved in the drive. So I don't recommend buying it for running fps games.
price is good but this is a very slow gaming drive... almost 30 minutes to copy a game from the main drive and 2 minutes less than forever to download a game directly to. Other than the speeds though, pretty good drive.
says it can be used for PS5 games but refuses to use it for anything other than PS4 games.
Don't know if it works because the cord is bent. It's unlike any cord I've seen before so I can't just replace it with another. Bummer.
This storage device is listed as "PS5 Storage Device" But when you plug it in it only supports ps4 games being downloaded and not ps5.
It’s not for my ps5 even tho on the photo it says it is. Scam it’s for Xbox and I’m happy I got my refund and bought a different one.
