[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New washer to replace OLD top loader. The touchscreen had a small learning curve, but we easily navigate it now. Clothes feel like the are cleaner too. I was worried about longer cycles but going from the really small tub to the 5 cu ft of this washer we get laundry done in fewer cycles. Sunday Laundry does not take all Sunday now. Still working through the old detergent pods, have not used the Load n Go feature but we have a new bottle of Swash detergent and really looking forward not worrying about adding detergent...or adding the correct amount!! Installed the washer on a Pedestal and it is rock steady during the spin, but we really focused on leveling for this reason. Absolutely suggest adding pedestals, my back does not scream getting laundry out of the machine anymore, the height is perfect now. Laundry is overall easier now. Easily the best washer I have ever used. Employee purchased, I am VERY proud of what we make!!
We replaced our existing HE too load washer with this one and we actually feel like our clothes are getting fully cleaned now. The setup is very easy and the added app/remote features make it very convenient to start laundry remotely and get notified when it is finished. The added fresh fan makes it really easy to keep clothes fresh when you cannot get them out right away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this washer's performance. Easy to use with intuitive controls. Love the ability to preload detergent and fabric softener into containers that disperse for multiple loads. Pleased with this purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing product. Great looking and very customer friendly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought washer Year ago , had issues with spin cycle .Whirlpool up graded washer and replaced with this model . Very happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The digital panel is fancy but not user friendly. It has taken me multiple attempts to figure out how to start a simple load as well as remove the delayed timer. At the same time, the detergent dispenser on the top left exterior feels very cheap and seems like it will break.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it. I did a couple loads one day. The next I did one more. Then it died and does not power on. While it's under warranty, the parts are backordered, so who knows when I'll be able to use it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for a new house and it died within 6 months. Finally got a repairman scheduled and it is still not repaired 2 weeks later. This is an overly complicated machine to operate. It is an example of the overuse of technology making life harder rather than easier
My Husband and I purchased this machine as well as the matching gas dryer less than 2 years ago and have experienced nothing but problems. Well, it finally completely malfunctioned today. It started with the cold water function not working correctly or causing long continuous cycles. After having a repair man come take a look, it turns out that the control panel and door lock are malfunctioning at the same time?! This machine is just barely 2 years old. Very displeased with this machine and do not recommend it to anybody else.
Bought this in April of 2020, thankfully bought it together with a Whirlpool Service Plan offered, sold and issued by AIG and approved by Whirlpool. Until it broke the machine performance was ok: -Pros: cleans clothes as expected, is gentle on fabrics, has a lot of options to customize the wash, 2 automated detergent dispenser tanks are convenient -Cons: control screen is very slow to react, needs cleaning cycle on a regular basis to prevent build up/smell even using the automated dispenser with the appropriate setting The biggest complain how/when it broke and the service received. The machine started only washing clothes with hot water, regardless of the temperature of the cycle. The machine was not able to self-diagnose this and this ruined several of our delicate clothes as we suspected that something was wrong only after noticing that when taking out our clothes from the washer they were warm instead of cold and the fact that our clothes started not fitting us anymore. This is unacceptable. The service provided through the service plan was very slow (every time they came out there was at least 2 weeks between appointments) and they invoked the buy-out clause right at the 3 visit (first visit there was no attempt to repair - just a diagnosis, second visit they change the water inlet valve, third visit they change the mother board). Buy out clause was for 75% of the pre-tax price, which was fair, but did not include a haul away. I was disappointed about the non-willingness to work with the customer and offer an equal trade to allow me to maintain a matching washer/dryer. I trusted Whirlpool but this was such a disappointment that I am not sure I can recommend their appliances anymore.
