Ease of obtaining. Item was available in store. I ordered with my groceries! Filter was as described and is perfect fit. I will be ordering again!!I liked that filter was in store. It was delivered with my groceries and arrived same day ordered! Right at my door!!
After trying 2 online brands with no success, This was a winner ...although it was 4 times the price.
As I am writting this review, my fridge is making a continuous noise for 20 minutes already. Is this normal How long will this last? Also found a metal strip inside the box. What is it for?
Only size that fits my fridge and the only brand they had in stock. So, I was stuck with it. It is so expensive, and I am not sure if I am able to taste a difference in my fridge water. (located in Houston Suburbs). I was better off just getting a Water Cooler with a 5 gallon jug.
I keep filters stocked in advance of need so it has been months since I received my order of two filters. Installed one of the new filters. It fit perfectly but would not flow water. Installed the second filter and it also would not flow water. Reinstalled my old my old filter to confirm water flow. Had to order another filter from a different vendor and it was fine. I suspect filter media may have been installed incorrectly or some other internal defect during manufacturing as neither filter would flow water. I am disappointed with the product and have two pricey filters that are worthless.
Since I have installed the filter my water is filled with bubbles which means that air is getting trapped during the filtration process. I had to replace the filter which fixed the issue, so it feels like a waste of money. Pictured is water fro the bad filter.
The item was not new as advertised. It even arrived with random writing from a Sharpie marker on the packaging! Something is clearly very off here. It looks like something that you would find at a yard sale from someone moving and clearing out their kitchen. I would not be comfortable putting an item like this into my refrigerator.
We bought on 2 months ago replaced it followed the direction to the T. None last week our water and ice started smelling and tasting like pool water the water out our tap tasted just fine
I bought this filter from Walmart to replace the filter that I just installed. I like to keep one ahead in case in something goes wrong with the current filter. It will go into my filter receptacle, but no water comes out. I put the old filter in and it works. I bought this filter because according to the description online, it should fit my refrigerator. NOT TRUE! Walmart will not stand behind this product because it's past 90 days of purchase and apparently this seller is no longer with walmart because of issues like this. I have my receipt and they know this company has discrepancies in their description, but I can't get a refund. Lesson learned. Be very careful of what you order from Walmart.
The water filter won't slide in properly. Had to put the old water filter back into the refrigerator.
