Perfect for my needs. Saves me trips to the Laundromat. The dryer has wheels which is very desirable. This dryer is vented out a window using VentWorks. I would recommend this dryer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I am impressed with this washer / dryer combination. Especially I like the many cycle choices for my wash. Both are very quiet. Good looking with nice dials. I give it 5 stars!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous dryer actually lasted 30 years. This new whirlpool portable dryer is very similar. Its amazing how sturdy it is. Dries quickly and quite a few things at one time. It's also very quiet. It also is energy efficient so my electric bill didn't go up at all. Ever since Covid there was no way I was going to use my buildings dryer after my previous one no longer worked. It's worth every penny...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stackable dryer was a welcome inclusion in our new 2017 RV, and the fact it was a Whirlpool was a bonus! Due to the fact it is in our "home away from home" we have had limited time to use it. As it is a Whirlpool we are confident in its dependability and the design works well for the space available. It's small capacity limits the amount of clothes that can be dried at any one time. Sometimes it's necessary to split the washed clothes into 2 dryer loads but that is to be expected due to it's size. Overall, we are pleased with this appliance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had it for 3 weeks and I am satisfied with it. My wife has a bit of a hard time opening it but I assume it is because it is new. Whirlpool is a good company and I have bought their products in the past. I hope and expect along the dryer lasts as long as my last Whirlpool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an earlier Model from years ago, that finally "Gave up the Ghost" It seems Dryers, like people, are getting bigger every year .We were Lucky to find a Whirlpool Compact Dryer That was Identical, in size and Capacity (to the inch believe it or not) We had almost given up hope , but the correct size was delivered early and works just fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have liked the door to open in the opposite direction and it's hard to open, also the door feels really flimsy and tinny. Otherwise I'm happy with it.
I have had the dryer about 2 months, and I am very happy with its performance. For a 120w dryer, it dries clothes much quicker than I expected, as compared to the older one replaced. It's easy to operate, has very good capacity and performs as advertised. I would have scored it a 5, but for one negative. If it had been possible, I would have scored it 4.5. The negative is it looks cheap and to close the door for operation, you have to hit the upper corner to get the door "locked" in place. This also makes for a bit of a chore in opening it. It's good for the latch to be tight, but it shouldn't require a hit to close and hard tug to open.
I have a Whirlpool LDR3822PQ. Needed to clean the lint from under the drum and had to remove the front panel. I had to rip off the front part of the control panel to separate the timer from the knob just to remove the front panel. I couldn't get past the item behind the hybrid screws and could not find any help. I feel I purchased the wrong dryer for my apartment.
Straight junk. Wish I could post video. It's loud. Sounds worn out. Came delivered and dented Nobody should have to pay that price for something that doesn't even sound new. Unless used wasn't disclosed. I'll be expecting a full refund
