Works perfectly for my dad.
I purchased this for my brother. He has had a 50 % hearing loss in one ear since he was very young. Now 69, he was told there isnt a hearing aid that will help him. The doctor suggested he try this item to help him hear while waiting for authorizations to do an implant.My brother LOVES this device. He can even talk to me on the phone . This item gets a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 through 10. This is a great product

It took a few times to get the batteries in straight but once we did, it worked great!

I work in a hospital and we use these for people who are very hard of hearing. Works well for those who have hearing aids that dont work well.
Works good!! No more yelling or nodding without understanding what is being said. Batteries last a long time. Two AAA. Binaural earbuds would be helpful or Bluetooth capabilities would be best. The volume and tone level adjustments are susceptible to change when putting the unit in your pocket. Walking into a large store with paging, entrance airflow and just general ambient noise can be disconcerting so adjusting the tone level from treble to more base helps or just take your earbud out. Now I can hear the signal indicator in my car!!! Way cheaper (about 1/10th the cost) and easier to use than hearing aids.
It works as described. I have mild hearing loss but nowadays the movies on TV seem to increase the volume to extreme levels. My wife used to have to scream at me over the TV but now I no longer notice the blood vessels in her neck so this was worth it just for that.
Very difficult to change batteries. Compartment difficult to close.
