I have a 5 year old and 7 year who loves to slam their doors when they are in trouble and now they can't slam them anymore. I also have a younger child who likes to open and close doors because well just because she knows how to do that now and your product has prevented her from slamming her fingers in the doors. They fit tightly and perfectly around the doors and they don't get loose after being hit on the door frame. My main purpose of use is for my children not to slam their fingers in the doors and to prevent them from slamming doors all the time.
The Finger Pinch Guards are working very well and have helped us to keep our doors from slamming shut. We have our finger pinch guards on two different doors all the time, the one to our bedroom and one to the stairwell upstairs, as well as one on the bathroom door occasionally. Our main purpose currently is to keep our doors from closing completely as well as being slammed shut when we go from room to room. With a small son who loves being held and a dog who loves to chase the cats, they make it significantly easier to close the door just enough to keep the dog uninterested as well as easier to push the door open while holding our son. My son is just starting to reach out and grab things, so when the time comes that he inevitably grabs a door, the Finger Pinch Guards will undoubtedly keep his fingers from getting pinched, which gives me peace of mind that his fingers will never get caught in the closing door. Overall, they are a very well-made and useful product that will never cease to come in handy!
I love it! It does the work and i place them high enough so my kid who puts a stool on her chair still cant get to it. No more slamming or locked doors!
They are amazing since now my 17 month old has no problem getting his finger slammed by his playful closing the door game with Mommy and Daddy. I use it just above his reaching point so he knows it's safe to do what he loves to do. Also, we don't have to hear him slam the door, and find out he is playing "close the door" hiding seek...without us knowing his playing the game. Now he can come out if he know "oh, they are not looking for me". Major point for this item is that he now more confident to do what he wants to do when he sees the pincher guard by the door knob. We'll have to raise it as he gets taller
am very satisfied with the finger pinch guards. They are light, discreet, and get the job done! They are easy to hide by putting them on the top of the door, also. The price point is very reasonable, especially since they come in a pack of 4! They are on the bedroom doors, so they cannot be slammed and also on the basement door, so it remains open at all times. I have not smashed my fingers at all!
Easy to install and remove. Works exactly as advertised. Definitely recommend.
Im using them on my 1 year old sons bedroom door and my 8yr old daughters door. They are great help and make me worry less about my little guys fingers being smashed. Easy to install/remove. Great value for price!
I am using the 4 pinch guards on all of our bedroom doors (infants, 3 1/2 year olds and mine and my husbands room as well as the kids bathroom). I put them high up, within my reach on the side of the doors so I can have quick access to them if I need to take them off (nap time, bed time). I use them because my 3 1/2 year old loves to slam doors when he has a temper tantrum and has slammed his hand in bathroom door when he tries to close it all the way. The guards allow the doors to close with a big enough gap so his fingers don't get caught but small enough so the door doesn't feel wide open. The material is wonderful because it doesn't make any noise when closed on or when installing or taking off. When I take it off the door, I put it on the handle for storage and it fits perfect until i want to put it on again. It fits snug on the door so it won't fall off but I can take it off with one hand while holding my infant and put it back on.
Bought these to stop my son from slamming his bedroom door and the 1st day i put it on the door it started to tear. I had to put duct tape on it to keep it from tearing more. Don't wast your money.
It is trash ripped as soon as door was slammed! I would recommend a pool noodle over these!
