I bought the WORXGT a couple of years ago and I love it. Even better are the FREE Spools For Life! I tell all of the my friends, family, neighbors and everybody I know to get this for themselves. I own both the WORXGT and the WORX Trivac. They are so easy to use and work wonderfully.
I'm a senior with a summer home on a tiny remote island 12 miles out to sea. My property is on a rocky, wild hillside and difficult to maneuver around. Gas is expensive and stinky! Electric cords are nearly impossible. Other weedwhackers I've tried were heavy, cumbersome and broke their strings every 5 minutes. My WORX has made trimming...wait for it...FUN! Recreational! I tell my husband I'm going out to weedwhack, and he says, "Have fun with your toy." I used it for more than a season without running out of my first spool, and it never broke a string even once. The 3 speeds take on even fully mature weeds, which I have a-plenty - such as horseradish, whose stalks are like telephone wire, and the dreaded invader, SwallowWort, that nobody wants to touch! Changing spools is easy peasy, and at the rate they use up, a 6-pack of FREE spools for Life might conceivably last - a lifetime!
I had to learn the hard way, Never stray away from the ORIGINALS Worx Spools. They're strong, reliable, durable won't stick together while extending for extra line!!! They've never failed me.
I own a Worx 3 in 1 Trimmer and think it is the best trimmer I have ever used, light weight, easy to use and make use of all 3 positions. Also in my collection of yard tools is the works blower is Great for the fall by using the vacuuming of leaves in the yard, love the way it mulches the leaves in saving bag space. Started out by seeing the products on the TV, and always check out Worxs products before buying anywhere else! As you can see I have the best trimmed and looking yard in the neighborhood.
I bought mine 3 or 4 years ago, have ordered the free spools at least twice. I am hard on my little treasure but the Worx GT is a beast and can take it. I love doing my own yard work and it's super easy with this machine! I look forward to purchasing additional pieces this summer.
I don't care about a prize, I just tell it like it is! Worx has earned my confidence and respect. I don't buy from commercials but after buying several electric trimmers and a much too heavy gas trimmer, I succumbed to the Worx advertising. I could not test-drive the Worx Trimmer and against the smart money I purchased my Worx on-line. I have used my Worx Trimmer hundreds of times trimming my yard and edging my driveway. I know you have made changes but why? My trimmer is over four years old, never fails, is easy to handle, no gas, no electric cord, auto line feeder and free replacement line spools for Life and you want change that? Just tell it like it is: Worx builds the best most reliable grass trimmer on the market. I clean my Worx after each use, charge the batteries and it's ready for the next cutting. My yard looks like someone broke into my fence and made a park. Thanks to my Worx Trimmer.
This electric trimmer is just what the Dr. ordered! My husband is 66 yrs. old with back problems. He used to have to trim in intervals but now he can do it all at one time! I've had my weed wacker about 7 years now and it's been a great help for me on my 3 acre property. It's perfect for the weekly trimming and some edging around gardens. No need to buy gas and mix oil because I've always got spare power with three batteries charged and ready. I can't fuss with a heavy trimmer and strings that keep breaking on the gas trimmer. I bought an extra trimmer this year because the price was so reasonable. I'm a single grandmom and I tell my friends about Worx tools because it's not easy to find help these days. I do a lot of my own yard work to save money. No heavy tools for me when I can do the job with Worx. I highly recommend the trimmer and electric chain saw.
After purchasing my 3rd home on over 3/4 acres, I needed lightweight, durable equipment to maintain a beautiful yard in my new subdivision. Here we have an unspoken bit of a competition with great neighbors, when it comes to properties. I checked out all the powered trimmers around and then I purchased my first 18v WORX Trimmer/Edger and Hedge Trimmer in 2007 I believe, (But should have bought 2 batteries) and both still run today! Talk about razor edge trimming... Absolutely None Better! (Gave it to a neighbor last month) Now I stepped up to the 32v in both tools again and I can easily do the entire yard on one battery charge... Seriously! I use my WORX tools 10 months a year and they will last through years of dependable, reliable service. Maybe I'll give these away 8 years for now but will gladly buy WORX tools again!
I've had my trimmer awhile and I love it because it's not heavy or hard to operate . Gotten the spools several times and the last batch I got was terrible and most I didn't get to use up fully because the line keeps breaking and I can't get it to come off the spool on some . My sons been using his gas powered one to help me out . Re ordering spools and hoping I get get fresh fully useable spools this time . Free or not still costs me to get them delivered and if I can't use them up then it's still a waste of money ! And why do t you recycle the empties Worx - seems a waste throwing them out !
