I primary bought this console for the purpose of playing 4K Blu Ray movies. I've tried but have never been able to get back into gaming as an adult. I chose to go with the Xbox because I felt I was getting more for my money when compared to Samsung's and Philips 4K Players. There are a few games that I would likely be interested in when the next game is released such as Max Payne and Wolfenstein. There are some reviews of the Xbox where users complained that it wouldn't play 4k movies. I didn't have these issues which could be because of an updates that installed when I booted the console up for the first time. This is not the first time Microsoft has released a product with glitches and it frustrating though I still think the Xbox is best option as most the issues are usually addressed promptly. I also suspect that you'd see some negative reviews if you look back to reviews done when any of the consoles as well as regular Blu Ray players were first released.
