This is my first Zippo lighter as I was always on the fence about spending so much money on a lighter, but it became immediately obvious that this lighter is worth not only the hype, but the cost too. Small, slim, and lightweight, this easily fits in my pocket without being bulky. There is a satisfying click when the lid is opened and an equally satisfying snap when it's closed. This zippo claimed to be windproof and you bet I tested that out. Yep, it's windproof AND so easy to light. I have my own and now I know exactly what I will be buying my husband for a stocking stuffer this year.

The weight is well balanced and feels good in your hand. It's easy to use one handed to open the lid and then light the flame. Very smooth, sleek and sexy. The iridescent lighter appears mostly green in color but as you turn the lighter the color changes to a deep purple. Zippo is made in the USA and I'm happy to support a great American company and it's well made products.

He had another zippo that is over 10 years old. I wanted to give him a new one. I opened the package too it comes in a great gift box and it is very shiny. Very cool product for adults. I absolutely love my candy apple red zippo. Its gorgeous! its so shiny and smooth and catches the light perfectly! Its hard to take my eyes off of it, so captivating! this is the fine quality I have grown to love in all my zippos. I have a growing collection of 15. a Zippo is not just a lighter but a piece of art.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Zippo windproof lighters are simply the best, hands down. This rose gold version is simple, classic, and elegant. Very nice weight and feel in the hand. Old school self fill with lighter fluid is easy, while the flint wheel isn't hard to operate. Although it is sleek and simple looking according to my research there are 22 separate parts. Incredible.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I bought the Zippo High Polish Rose Gold Pocket Lighter for $30. The lighter comes in a black box with felt siding (think cardboard jewelry box) and that box is inside of a regular white box. Zippo is a well known brand and has been around for a long time. It's also made in the USA. They have a guarantee that allows you to return a lighter of any age or condition to be fixed free of charge. The only thing not guaranteed is the finish. Speaking of the finish, this one has a rose gold finish. In the product picture it looks more pink, but in real life I mainly see the gold. The outside of the lighter is very slick and feels oily after a little use. It also shows smudges extremely well. However, it does look nice when you can't see any smudge marks. As for the lighter itself, it's very easy to fill. You don't have to hold your finger on the ignition after it lights and the casing around the wick makes it wind proof. The lighter is known for its click and closing feature. It does take a little force to close it with a swing and the top part has a little too much give in it. People have said the lighter is lightweight, but I don't agree. When it has fuel, it's fairly heavy compared to other lighters. Overall, the zippo lighter has an excellent guarantee so it's worth the $30. The lighter works well, but I would get a different color and finish if I was to buy another one.
Let me just say that This would be 5 stars accept that the zippos I remember had more durable hinges. There is just a large amount of play in the lid....to much twist in it makes it feel flimsy! Otherwise it is as described and with a butane insert works well without fuel loss.
