It will not fit in my sewing table to make a smooth surface for sewing. If it is sitting on top of my sewing table it is too high and uncomfortable to use.

I don’t know if many people can relate to this but I’m used to using a White brand sewing machine that was passed down from my mother in law… she told me it was great and all I’d need. It might have been just me but I found it unreliable and frustrating. There have been numerous projects that have taken me so long to complete and some that I’ve just given up on because I thought (at the time) I’m just bad at sewing. But now… I am pleasantly surprised. I’m not such a bad sewer after all!! Right from coming out of the box you can tell this machine is nice… double the weight of my previous one and all the little components under the hood look like good quality…. One thing to note is that this does not have a handle so it's not as easy to store on a shelf and move around as needed… I now just leave it set up in one designated space. it's really easy to set up/thread. I was up and running within 15 minutes probably. I can tell you that my stitching looks tighter and tidier than ever… that’s my favorite feature : ) I’ve used the embroidery bed as well… that’s a whole new world for me but its been surprisingly easy to use… you load a pattern and it just does it for you (like a printer for a computer)… an excellent selling feature in my opinion. Bottom line, I’m really happy with this… it’s a new and great feeling to be confident in my sewing ability… just wished I had upgraded sooner. …hope this helps.
