I have had this mower for just over 2 years now and love it. It has plenty of power and is not excessivly loud like gas mowers and you can smell the cut grass and not gas fumes. I would recommend getting a spare blade to keep on hand because it seems the only way to get a new one is online ... and not at Walmart??? But, I still would not recocmmend any other mower... LOVE MINE!!!

I can mow the whole yard, front and back with a 100 foot extension cord. And, YES, the cord does get in the way sometimes, but no more than a vacuum cleaner. And I don't have to worry about gasoline or pulling the rip cord to get it started. Just pull the lever on the handle and it starts right up. One post said that the height adjustment keep slipping, but I haven't had that problem at all. I keep it set at medium, at the very top, and it has never slipped. One post said the mulcher left a mess on the grass. I've noticed a few clumps here and there, but what mulcher doesn't do that? The only problem I have noticed is that the screws and nuts holding the handle parts together will sometimes vibrant lose. I got 2 lock nuts and problem solved. The blades are sharp and it is powerful enough to get the job done. The price is good. I am happy with the purchase.

Fairly quiet and nice machine overall. Easy assembly but strange plastic that are supposed to cover holes didn't fit. Seemed more cosmetic than anything so I didn't worry about it. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't seem to cut the grass evenly. I tried moving slow. I tried overlapping my laps a little more. Nothing seemed to matter. In a few days the grass is all uneven anyway so it's hardly noticeable. Not a bad machine at all for the money.

A fine product, indeed. I used an electric (Black & Decker) mower over 25 years ago and loved it. Yes, you have to get used to the cord...but many new things take getting used to. We have thick "Carpet Grass" and leave the mower deck on its hightest setting. It's a breeze to push this lightweight...Multching works great too! A BIG thank you to Black & Decker for a U.S. made product (and parts), and to Walmart for carrying this fine brand!

put on the handle plug it in and its ready to roll. this is the second black and decker electric mower i have purchased. there is still nothing wrong with the 1st. i cant remember how long ago i bought the 1st one(at least 5 years ago). i'm just passing it down to my daughter and i'm sure she'll get a few more years out of it. easy to maintain - no oil changes, no running out of gas, no fumes, fairly quiet and very light weight. practically runs itself. love it!!!!
