Black & Decker Bd 18" Corded Mulching Mower W/rearbag

I'm 64 years old. This is my first time ever cutting my lawn. I assembled this electric mower myself. I started it up and cut the lawn with NO problem at all. It's a great mower. Read the book. It gives lots of info on cutting the lawn and tips we all need to know on maintenance and cleaning and storage.

Its nice to know that I will never have to worry about having enough gas to finish cutting the lawn, I just plug in and go. Great Value and the handle folds in half so I can stand the mower upright in my shed and save space.

I have had a previous incarnation of this mower for nearly 25 years and it still works. It *is* getting old and there are some normal wear and tear issues, so I decided to buy the new machine, which for all intents and purposes is almost exactly the same (except for the bright orange color). I have used the new machine only once so far and it worked well. Very easy to assemble (just the handle) and lightweight. It cuts and mulches well. As I said, I have used it only once, but its predecessor (almost exactly the same) lasted nearly 25 years and it still working (with a few minor or fixable issues). The new machine appears to be a good buy and I would not hesitate to recommend it for small to medium yards (I have a total of bout 1000-1200 square feet). This mower gets a high mark from me.

I mowed for 15 minutes with this mower but it kept "flipping" the breaker so I boxed it back up and returned it. Perhaps it was an electrical problem with my outlet, but a leaf blower worked on the same plug. Enjoyed the 15 mins though. Pushed like a baby stroller.

My last black & decker was 13 years old and I always liked them. Its very easy to operate, just push the handle .it is well worth the money. I mow ed thelawn today and it really worked very easy. I had to lower the wheels lower than my other one but it cut the grass very well. It is very nice for a women cause you can start it your self.away you go. Like everyone else says, you will get used of cord.I
