Very light weight, easy to store, easy to use, does not cut lawn as well as gas powered mower but the job it does do is acceptable.

This product assembled easily out of the box with simple and clear instructions which were easy to follow (only the handle needed to be assembled). It works easily, cuts cleanly, and otherwise is extremely satisfactory requiring no adjustments from the factory presets. Small sticks will stop the reel, but that is unavoidable with a manual, reel-type mower. My wife wanted this product to cut several small areas near her flower beds where she did not want the large mower and she wanted one without gas or cord. She is extremely satisfied with this machine. An excellent product and at a reasonable price.

I was looking for a light portable mower since I have a small yard. I didn't want to mess with gas or electrical cords either and besides they make too much noise. So I decided to get this one after reading the reviews. I got mine from the local store and it's a little different from the illustration. It's the same brand and price, but the handles are different. It's very easy to maneuver and does a good job. It even cut through weeds (I don't know what kind of weeds they are). It won't cut through tall grass like others have mentioned. You do have to trim it a little and make sure to keep it under control. Other than that, it does what it's suppose to. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and most important I'm helping the environment.

Firstly, this picture must be for an older model, because ours has four wheels and different handlebars. I am giving this five stars, because it far exceeded my expectations. When the salesperson showed it to me, I told him that there was no way that it would be able to cut grass. I under estimated it.<br> It is compact and the handlebars can be stored upright or laid flat. It doesn't use up as much garage space as a conventional lawn mower. Prior to this mower, I had a Black & Decker electric mower. It cut great, but the problem was that, in addition to being extremely bulky, was the fact that it kept getting unplugged every time the cord would get stuck on a weed. Plus, I would have to spend 15 minutes just untangling the power cord before I could cut the grass. It was such a hassle, that I only cut the grass once a month. With the Earthwise, my children fight over who is going to cut the grass. It starts up immediately and we cut the grass every few days and finish the entire lawn in about 10-15 minutes. No more gasoline, oil or tangled wires. I will say this, though. This will not be the only gardening tool in your arsenal. You will still need grass shears to cut the strays and you will need to remove all weeds. I have not had any problems with twigs getting stuck in the blades. Perhaps that was a problem with the older model? I have also read people complaining that it doesn't cut weeds. Why would you want to cut weeds? They will just grow back. Weeds are symptoms of a bigger problem and will require extra lawn care to remove them and care for your grass. Overall, we are all extremely pleased with this mower.

Took no time to setup. Works well...except on the parts of the yard that are very bumpy and patchy.
