I choose my phones based on size, and ordered my first Alpha in 2016. It lasted for nearly 3 years. Wanting something a bit newer and up-to-date, I replaced it with a Sony Xperia Compact X. Disappointingly, it was the same width as the Alpha but at least twice the thickness and weight and lacked several basic features, ie having a replaceable battery. The kicker was having it fall off a shelf 2 weeks after purchase and the screen dying completely (with case and screen protector on!). I can't tell you how many times I'd dropped my Alpha without any issues afterwards. I returned the Xperia and got a new Alpha, and don't know why I ever tried anything else. If you want a small, slim, stylish, efficient android phone, this is IT!

It got better ratings than any of the Galaxy phones and was well worth it; faster, better performance for all of my apps. Never had any problems with Bluetooth or WiFi, (no having to restart every couple of days to get things to work again). I'd love to have another one, but can't find one, anywhere. I only gave mine up because i dropped it into a pan of dishwater and it couldn't be retored, probably because of the soap.

After researching Galaxy phones the Alpha met my needs, the sound quality from the speakers are great, light weight and durable. Other than phone calls I like to take pictures of my kids and the random selfie I wish the picture quality was better but over all I like it. When surfing online or on sites like Pinterest, loading time is pretty fast. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone that want to purchase their first smart touch screen phone easy to learn and very affordable.

most of the mobiles in the market are in 5 inches and above 5 inches making it tough to handle the phone. This Samsung -Galaxy-Alpha has a unique shape with every feature including Ultra-Power-Saving, Nice Design, SHealth etc like the Galaxy S Family. Except for its battery life. Have we got 2400 mAH atleast, this phone would have rocked. Still not late for Samsung to recall and arrange for a battery :-). I dream

I was expecting this phone to be what I was looking for. Right out of the box on a full charge it would not last a full day. That is frustrating. This phone has so many nice features. Nothing worse than needing to use your phone only to pull it out and the battery is dead.
