Microsoft Lumia 640 8GB White Prepaid Smartphone T-Mobile

Listen up Microsoft, While this was a great phone (No longer used due to me dropping in in the water) I have a few complaints! 1. Where are all the colours? I can only see black and white on your new phones and limited colours on the others? Where is the personality? That was the best thing about the lumias, they were personable! You could swap out the back cover when you felt like it. 2. I will never buy a windows phone until the app gap is fixed. No snapchat, why? Not many Australian Banks or services. Work with the companies. Pay them to develop apps! I wouldn't mind paying a little bit more for a lot more app choice?

I have been using mobile devices since the 90s, first with Palm products and then Windows CE/Windows Mobile via HTC products. For a long time it annoyed me that I had to carry a laptop/tablet, PDA and phone. Although I owned a 520 previously the 640 is the fist phone that really allows me to be completely mobile. Large enough to do the tasks of a Tablet but small enough to use as a phone. I work seamlessly with all my devices and calendar, emails, images etc all sync quickly between them so whatever device I happen to be using its always up to date and synchronized. Used properly with your other Windows products this phone is an absolute must - as would be any of the larger screen lumia phones. The phone comes with a sensible array of apps on board. Here Drive is an excellent sat nav program and I have not used my stand-alone unit since owning the 640. Mail works well and the calendar is simple and efficient Social Media and internet browsing is fast and the phone switches quickly between my wireless locations. For work you don't need a ton of apps and honestly i don't get the media hype of microsoft not having enough apps (unless what people mean is they want more free games???) I must also add that lumia phones offer the best call quality of any phone I have ever used - its like speaking to someone in a recording studio - the clarity is amazing. Camera is surprisingly good, and I have found myself actually using it at times. Its particularly handy if you need a document on your computer - just take a photo with your phone and its instantly shared across your Windows devices. Browsing is fast and smooth using my provider (Virgin Media) and the phone support 4G too. Battery life is outstanding and I only have to charge every couple of days unless it gets heavy use. The only negative is that out of the box Windows phones do look boring...the icons are bland and square. However add a favourite background image from your one drive folder and customize your tiles and the phone is transformed.

I had used android and windows phones before. I have been using Lumia 635 , but it did not have flash. That was the only complain i have on that. So I went and bought 640. The biggest plus point in windows phones are No junk apps to kill your phone performance and battery. Clean and simple OS. Most of the phones are coming with no expansion slots for memory and non-removable battery. But this phone is give all freedom. This phone does everything you need to do with ease and speed.

I had a Lumia 635 for a year ,which was a great phone. The difference between the 635 and 640 is huge. The first thing I noted was how much bigger and better the screen is. Pictures save on my sd card that were taken with my 635 look much sharper and clearer on the 640. The OS is better to with 8.1 Denim you get new setting features , like a built in equalizer for better sound. This is easily a $200+ dollar phone.

This is a great phone had a iphone but never again. WIndows phone is easy to work. They do need more apps but over all much better. Battery time super. love the cloud, one notes. Cortana SUPER. I can lay out all my clients in my cell phone at my finger tip. LOVE THE WINDOWS CELL PHONES.
