sold as heavyweight metal opener, the plastic top on it is flimsy does not appear to be very durable thought it was all metal
I had one just exactly like this that i used for years. This one however is not the same. It is very light weight. It will not cut large sized cans. Very disappointed!
Grabs the can quickly, turns smoothly, opens the can & holds the lid securely. My only complaint is that I've got to hold the can opener when opening a large (heavy) can, even though it's advertised as being a "heavy duty" opener.
I love this can opener, it Is the second time I have purchased this can opener. I broke the first one after 6 years of use, but, immediately purchased the same thing.
I bought this item after my wife and I had gone through 2 hand can openers. This product is compact, and easy to use. So far is a wonderful addition to the kitchen.
