Honeywell HEPAClean Compact Air Purifier 16200, White

I live with a smoker. This unit sits in the area he smokes and has helps eliminate the smoke odor. I ran it on high the first few days and altho the noise was not unpleasant I turned it down so I could hear someone knocking on the door better. The soothing white noise it makes has also helped my doggies sleep better.

I WAS LOOKING FOR AN AFFORDABLE AIR PURIFIER AND FOUND ONE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. I TRUSTED THE BRAND HONEYWELL AND WENT FOR IT. I HAVE IT IN MY BEDROOM. RUN IT TILL I GO TO BED. A LITTLE NOISY TO SLEEP BUT ALL ARE THE SAME. I STOP WHEEZING WHEN I ENTER MY BEDROOM. I ALSO HAVE A CAT AND SHE SPENDS A LOT OF TIME IN THERE. SO ITS DOING THE JOB. VERY HAPPY.

Had difficulty opening front grill to install filter...noisier than I would prefer since I am using in bed room [Doctors orders]

It works fine so far, just got it. It took a long time to arrive, a couple of weeks, I expected it sooner. Having trouble opening the front (very stiff plastic) to unwrap front filter in order to operate. I am DISAPPOINTED that if something goes wrong, I CAN NOT return it to Walmart, even though I purchased it through walmart.com. I guess I should have bought one at the store, IF there was one there to buy. Next time I will be aware that the product is either IN Store, or can be picked up at store.

I have only had this for a week and the first filter needed cleaning. It is only a 1/2' foam flter, the you have the hepa filter,it is like a cassette size little larger. The front bars were dusty but not much on filter yet.I keep it running 24hrs. It is in my bedroom which is 12x19. For the money I am pleased. It sits on top of a small drop front desk, nice looking
