Greenworks - 24V (2x24V) 21-Inch Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (2 x 5.0Ah Batteries and Charger Included) - Green

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I'm happy with the mower in every aspect other than the battery life. I bought the mower based on my yard size and the only way I can get through with a single cut is not use the self propel and when it's dry season where the grass is dry. Currently in summer I have to cut 1/2 of the yard, break and charge the battery for 30 min while I edge trim as the lush grass kills the battery and the mower strains to cut. I also cut weekly so it's not like the grass is long. I thought about buying a pair of back batteries but the batteries costs as much as the mower. The idea of electric mower is great, the quality is decent.

I absolutely LOVE this so far. As a single woman with disabilities, this makes mowing a breeze. No gas or oil to mess with, just pop the batteries in, press a button, and go. I don't have to struggle with a pull string or work so hard to push that I have to take breaks just to get the lawn mowed. This is perfect for anyone who wants mowing to be simple and easy.

I just use my new mower for the first time and all I can say is wow! This thing is terrific! I have a fairly decent size yard and the 45 minutes of charge time was more than enough to get everything done. This is the best mower I have ever used. Love it!

I've only used this once, but I was so impressed, I wanted to react. The manual wasn't great, but I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and got it set up (which primarily involved attaching the handle part and figuring out the charger). That baby started right up and made it through my crazy overgrown lawn really easily. Two neighbors came out to our fence to comment on how quiet it was. I'm really impressed and would definitely recommend this mower. (And I'll add, I'm a 70-year-old woman, not in particularly great shape, so extra points for ease of use.)

This is my 2nd Greenworks mower and first battery operated. The mower came basically assembled; soon I was testing it out and mowed the front yard. Thoughts: Very nice, light, easy to learn to use as a first timer w/batteries. It is a little louder than expected from the mower description, so I was/am suprised...not a show stoper, but have liked it to be as quite as anticipated. Lastly,I would love to have my blade looked at by a local Greenworks hired professional - I don't think it's as 'sharp' as it should be when mowing under ideal conditions. Bottom line: it's nice, easy to use - doesn't corner so well in tight spaces; overall I like it, but the blade needs attention to not skip some grass when mowing.
