Love the simplicity of this phone. Excellent value. One thing quirky is the camera. When taking pics and trying to set as your wallpaper, the photo always rotates counterclockwise 90 degrees. You can rotate it but when you do and set as wallpaper you lose the original format and the pic is only a square image and doesn't fill the screen. You can view the whole picture in the picture viewer but this quirky distortion does happen when you try to use the picture as your wallpaper.

if you would love a phone that pocket dials 911 several times a week this is a great phone! there is no way to disable the feature making it anyones best guess when an angry phone operator calls you. or when they ask for your address because its happened to many times.

This phone is very out of date and randomly shuts off, with no explanation. calls are dropped and has awful service. Other than that, the keyboard is helpful, but the camera is very low grade

With the keys locked, you hit the green button 3 times it is dialing 911. That feature is bad it will dial in your pocket. I want to take this phone back!!!

Purchased Sparq 2 two weeks ago to give Family Mobile a trial run. This phone is amazing for $25. I have the voice, text, data plan. All are very fast on this little phone. Speaker phone is a little weak, but is only an issue in a noisy environment. Internet searches, Facebook all run quickly using the Opera Mini browser. I love the FM radio. Plug in head phones which are used as an antenna or external speakers and it works great. Very easy to navigate. The top row of the keyboard is a little too close to the screen so you have to use thumb tips, but, it's not too bad. Text messaging and emails are quick. MMS works ok but you can only view very small pictures. Even with a 2gb expansion card the OS doesn't allow viewing of large pics or downloading emails in excess of 300k. Or at least, I haven't seen how to do it yet. It's not really an issue since it's only a 2.4 inch screen. News works great. Am having problems adding Foxnews due to some formatting issue. The one serious issue is "butt calling' when the phone is in your pocket. A case is needed which doesn't press the keys. It butt dialed 911 once already. Notes, task lists, calendar, alarm, etc. all work great. Camera is fair. Even when I buy a better phone, I'll keep this one for a spare and for traveling. I've also had excellent experience with Family Mobile service so far. I initially purchased a cheap ZTE unlocked phone and tried to configure it to work. Family Mobile techs worked with me 3 times till we got it working and I figured out it had issues. Wait time was minimal all 3 times I called. Seems like they're trying hard to deliver good service and build Family Mobile into a competitive viable service.
