This is sleek, well built, stays cool, is a great thin and compact travel size. The Anker 727's fatal flaw is its AC outlets are too close together, thus can only fit one Apple 15-watt power brick at a time. In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to fit 2 of any sized plug at the same time in the too-closely spaced AC outlets. This is a shame and a major design oversight. The Anker 615 got it right by putting each of its 2 AC outlets on opposite sides of the unit instead of right next to each other. The Anker 727 should have spaced its AC outlets further apart. I'm returning the Anker 727 and keeping the Anker 615.

I use this charging station to supplement my home office setup, and I take it with me when I travel to use as a power hub for my devices. It's great having both outlets and USB ports, because it means I only need one international plug adapter for multiple devices.
This thing is great for travel. It puts out enough watts with the USBC that I can charge my laptop. The different type of USB ports and also offering regular outlets really simplifies what you need to bring.I have concerns about the pop-up outlet durability. The outlets don't come out that far to begin with, so I think just having them fixed in place would have been better. I get they were trying to make it more portable.Really the only negatives I have about it are:* A proprietary power cable means if I lose it (or it get damaged) I can no longer use this device. There are existing power cable connections they could have used that are not proprietary.* Everyone I show this to assumes it has wireless charging, especially because there's a light up ring with an on/off button. Not having wireless charging really sours the feeling about an otherwise great product.
I’m a person who could be considered a hardware power user. On top of traveling with a ton of tech, I also have a CPAP that needs to sit next to the bed. Most hotels only have one outlet. That’s a major inconvenience.I was shopping for a power bank that could charge my laptop, iPad, and two phones. I saw this power station right next to it. I liked the layout bc it can accommodate larger plugs. I loved the built in 45 w usb C and usb A ports. It even has enough power to charge the 24k Anker power bank I bought with it.It worked flawlessly in the hotel, at cafes, and at the conference center. I made friends with strangers when they saw I had multiple ports. I must’ve recommended it to 20 people. It’s the best travel purchase I’ve made in years. I’ll be buying them as Hanukkah gifts for the college student in my family. If you’re on the fence, just buy it and try it. It’s well worth the price.
