It seems to be better suited for areas with weak or moderate signals, my house is far from the broadcast tower, I put him on my bedroom cabinet pointed in the direction of not many obstacles, I turned it vertically and was able to rotate it and now it picks up most of the available channels.

I recently moved and decided that it was time to cut the cable as many other people have, so I ordered my internet connection and a Antop Antenna. I wanted something more attractive than an antenna hanging from my wall. I liked the style and it looks like a speaker tower. I also read up on some details, looked at other antennas, watched a few YouTube videos and made my decision. After hooking it up, which was pretty simple, I went from 0 channels to 30 over the air channels, some broadcasting in high definition. I live on the first level of a 10 unit condominium building made of concrete block and stucco, probably rated for at least a CAT3 hurricane since I live along the Gulf Coast of Florida. The antenna did not pick up any signals sitting inside my condo next to the TV. It comes with a 15 foot cable so I moved it out on to my covered screened in patio and it started successfully scanning channels. Im sure if I were just one level higher the number of channels would increase by at least 50% or more. I ordered this thru the Walmart website and had it delivered to the neighborhood store where it arrived in good shape and the pickup experience was easy and pleasant. I was able to track the shipment and received a notification when it was ready to be picked up at the store. So cable cutters, yes, I will rate the Antop AT-500SBS Indoor Antenna as a buy.

It's better than the antenna I replaced but 80 mile range is a dream not a reality. I am on the intracoastal waterway near St. Augustine, and have a clear view south and north, My home is perched up 3 stories with no nearby blocking from any structure, on a clear day with no cloud cover I have good reception for just under 50 miles. I get more reach if there is cloud cover

I don't quite understand it all just yet, but i know for sure you get all the tv channels on the box. hooking it up was super easy, and it has many different ways to style it in your room or living room. everything else i'm unsure about. In order to hook it up to two tvs it looks like you make need a super long chord for the other tv. bc it needs to be wired in.

Great for cord cutters, I scanned and got 62 channels. 20 more than the previous antennae. Easy to set up. I used the floor base and set it up next to the TV. Can be set up in the attic or wall. Works Great.
