This works so well. When it 's 110 outside, keeps the room to a comfortable 75. It really works well. Glad with this purchase. My window is 78 inches high and it fit perfect.

This thing is total crap. I turn this on in the room it was 76°. It is now 82. Not only does it not cool the room the temperature has been slowly rising over the past two hours. I bought this in hopes of using one central air unit versus two as this is a converted loft. The ceilings aren't even standard height across the room due to the Gables of the roofline. Save your money. Definitely recommend buying something else. Absolutely going back to Walmart. Just FYI the outside temperature is 91.

The Arctic King portable AC unit is great for those who have smaller areas that need cooling. This 10,000 BTU air conditioning unit is super easy to put together and install. Attach the exhaust hose to the back of the unit, install the slider using the appropriate blocks into your window, snap on the exhaust hose and seal around the edges of the window with the included foam strips and turn on the unit. It will start cooling immediately. This unit comes with everything you need for cooling, dehumidifying and heating your home. You will need to place it in an area that is at least a foot away from the wall to allow for optimal air flow. This unit comes with a remote that allows you to control the unit from across the room and it also can be paired with your smart phone. It has a flap on the top of the unit where the air comes out, that moves up and down to distribute the cool air. This unit also heats at 11,000 BTUs. This unit will be used this summer to help cool my back room which doesn't have adequate air flow through the house vents and will also work to heat it this winter. I really like this unit for its portability and ease of installing. I have no idea as of yet what the cost is per day so I do like that it has a timer mode so it will automatically shut off after a certain amount of time that I set. Overall, I am pleased with this unit and I do recommend.

Received this unit as part of the Spark Reviewer program. I selected this portable unit as a back up to my current heating and air unit. So while I have not ran the unit continuously, I did try it out a few times to see just what it could do. First, while it is smartphone compatible, I did not try this feature yet to know if it stays connected to WiFi or how the app works. My guess is that this would be a great feature if you are out and about and want to turn the unit on to cool or heat for a certain amount of time before you return home. When I used the unit, I tried the A/C first. It did not take long to cool the room and provided great comfort. I tried the heat just to see if it would warm up quick and it, so I turned it off. The remote is a great little feature too and was easy to use. Overall, I would recommend this product.
