Arctic King 30 pt Dehumidifier in White - Energy Efficient, Auto Restart, 24 Hour Timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in kentucky where it is very humid. My smoke detector even frequently is triggered by the humidity in the summer air. This machine has amazed me at the amount of moisture there is in my home. I do not have a wet basement or live in am old home. It was built in 90's and well kept. In a days time I have to empty this machine at least 5 times!! It holds a lot of water, and by the way it starts with no water, basically it is like turning on a fan. I definitely am very pleased with this machine, and it's effectiveness.

At our Lake House its more of a moisture problem there than at me home. This Dehumidifier works so much better than I thought it would. I didn fully understand how much difference the air would feel until I tried it. Yes I would definitely recommend anyone to buy one of these. You won't regret it.

I worried that if I didn't diligently clean it to make sure it was 1000% dry, the unit would emit mold and bacteria into the air my family and I were breathing. But then I heard about Arctic King! The very first sentence in the item description I read for this model says it will, "protect against bacteria, mildew" AND, "The auto-defrost function eliminates maintenance" resolving my concern!! I also love that it has a 24-hour on/off timer, a control lock and it is Energy Star rated, so I don't feel like I'm wasting money! It's a top-notch item! I'm really, really glad I opened my mind to the possibility of dehumidifiers again and found this item!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Arctic King 20 Pint Dehumidifier. It is a really Great dehumidifier. Its Ready to plug in right from the box. Easy to empty bucket. I love that u can set timer and humidity level. Can't believe how much moisture it pulled out of my basement and it even took that Musty and mildewy smell out of my basement and being in New York especially in the summer it can get really humid here and this machine does wonders.And it's not loud like some others and love that it's on wheels so can be moved very easily. I am definitely looking to get a bigger one for my living room. Just wish the bucket was a little bigger but great product.
