Great design & good specs for the price. It plays games on High to Ultra easily. The rgb effects are cool. Wished the battery life was longer though.

This garbage computer is defective. I bought it 2 years ago and it had massive lag problems from the beginning. It slowly got worse and worse. A year in, it wouldn't turn on. I was planning to send it back, but forgot since customer service is not on weekends. Thankfully I bought a 2 year protection plan so I will be sending this back. I think fault may lie on ASUS, as they may have sent me a faulty cpu. I never once dropped it and, took amazing care of it and still had this issue occur.

does this laptop get loud? kinda, but it's not unbearable. I have been pleased with performance ( knowing that it's not top of the line). I bought this to compromise with my wife (I wanted more performance) because the screen is better than a lot of laptops in this range or so the color gamut says. I haven't been disappointed in the screen. overall a great laptop.

This laptop runs perfectly and has no other problems than this one darn audio bug that keeps happening. If you have a Youtube Video or Twitch Stream open, and another program is open (like discord) that needs to make a sound (like a notification of a new messsage etc), then the audio for the whole computer will become this loud buzzing sound for 2 seconds and then the Twitch Stream will crash and the program that made the sound will stop producing audio until it is restarted. I called ASUS customer support and exhausted all of my troubleshooting options (drivers, updates, etc.) and all that was left was to send in the laptop for hardware maintenance. So instead of doing that, I decided to just exchange the laptop with Walmart and get another copy of the exact same laptop (ASUS's recommendation). Now that I have the 2nd version of this laptop... it STILL has this exact same audio bug. Must be a common problem. So I'm out. Going to return this and buy a different laptop.

I bought this laptop one week ago. However the cpu temperature always going very high. The fan suddenly running very fast and noisy when i open game center. Actually, my friend play same game with me but his cpu lower than me 20 degree centigrate even his laptop cheaper than me.
