Basic Fun! The Oregon Trail Electronic Handheld Game

What a great game! It's just like as I remember. All hand held in one small package. Choose to be a carpenter than you can fix things when they break!

I bought this because of childhood nostalgia, and I love it. But it bothers me that the power/reset button is in an easily triggered place, and it will end your game by accident. That button doesn't need to be that big. The screen should be much larger considering the font and graphics old school style. But overall, I'm still happy with it because this is a great way to play the game the old fashioned way.

I love the nostalgia! It's exactly like to old school game we played with a floppy disk. Shopping for supplies, hunting and sicknesses are the same. My only negative comment will be about how small the screen is, but if your old enough to remember the original from back in the day, chances are that your eyes might be changing with age anyway. Haha! I bought this for me but my kids LOVE this game and have picked this to play over their Wii, PS4, and XBOX. Old school for the win!

We hate to give bad reviews but this game really could use better graphics. It reminded me of the old games like pong. I've always loved the oregon trail but not this version. Teeny screen with poor graphics just doesnt make for a good game. We didnt think it was worth the price. we were disappointed.

The Oregon Trail game is fun. Simple to learn to use for people who are over 70. A young child would find fun as can hold in hand and does not need internet connection. There are different challenges you can choose to do, or take the safer route. You can stop and store game and pickup where you left off in game. The game is fun yet not too hard, just a change of pace from games on your phone or IPad. Very durable game for user.
