I don't even know where to start with this phone. I didn't expect much for the $49 price, but this phone was way below expectancy. Hardware issues: Lets start with the OS. Windows 8.1 on desktop/laptops is a decent OS, on this phone, it's slow, has massive amounts of terrible bugs such as apps force closing randomly, slow feedback/responsiveness when touching the screen, the "Windows Edge" browser on this phone, is just as much of a piece of garbage as IE (Internet Explorer) was and still is, guess I couldn't have expected much from IE's predecessor. Some numerous issues with the browser is, when attempting to type in a text box or such, it refuses to bring up the keyboard, this gets extremely frustrating when you have something to do on the go. This phone apparently has 1 GB of RAM, I highly doubt this due to the experiences while installing apps on this phone, which I forgot to mention, apps refuse to download sometimes and are stuck in a "Pending" state. The storage on this phone is a whopping 8 GB, as advertised, it's in reality around 3 GB including the Windows 8.1 OS. Physical phone issues: The phone itself, the screen scratches VERY easily, whether you want to believe that or not just because it's gorilla glass, it still doesn't withhold a very durable screen. Not only that, the screen gets very oily and smudged if you use it at room temperature due to the oils on your fingers, never had a problem like that with any other phone. The casing/back on the phone is an odd type of plastic that wraps around the sides of the phone and is quite difficult to get off of the phone itself. This phone is and will always be one of the worst phones I've ever purchased because I'm going to actually look into a phone before buying one out on a limb like I purchased this. There are a total of 3 pros to this phone: - the camera, which isn't really a pro because it still sucks but it actually manages to function correctly so I'll give Nokia that, - the audio, - and last but not least, the satisfaction of destroying it once you upgrade. So if you are planning on or already have purchased this phone, you're looking at a $50 paper weight, that is going to extremely frustrate you until you're forced to purchase a new phone because you destroyed it by putting it in the microwave. Microsoft and Nokia decided to partner up and make a series of phones and this version (635) of the series is complete garbage. Please save yourself some time and refrain from spending a dime on the Nokia 635 and go spend your money on something actually worth it. Good job on this one Nokia, not really.
