Chaco Dog Leashes N/A

I bought this a few months ago. Love Chaco products but this missed the mark. Bought for an adjustable waist belt and the webbing is not the same webbing used for shoes, appears far more flimsy. Would be more helpful to have a metal D ring than the plastic loop. I bought this to be hands free but would not recommend, as there is nothing to prevent dog from pulling tighter on waist and makes for an uncomfortable walk. When using around the waist, your "6 foot leash" is also included so you end up with a much shorter leash for the dog. Was able to custom order what I was looking for- a belt- from a different company that allows snapping of a leash without compromising function, length, or durability.

I have honestly loved having these leashes! I have a small (thinner) and large (pretty wide) size for 2 dogs for about 2 years. I run with them multiple times a week. I think the buckles are perfect for tying them around my waist (1 around my waist and the other dog around that loop). Also great for attaching them to the picnic tables at a local coffee shop stop! However, the buckles/clip on BOTH leashes have started jamming in the past month or two. One is now permanently stuck and unusable. The fabric of the leash is still in good condition but I can't use it without being able to use the clip! Ugh.

I was not sure about the leash at first, however it turns out it is an awesome leash! I got it in the pink bubbles pattern for my yorkie. Like other reviews, one end of the leash is similar to a collar and could be utilized as so in a bind. I would not recommend using the leash in lieu of getting a collar and a leash. I do recommend it as its original purpose of a leash for sure! (It is just helpful that in a bind the leash is capable of serving as a collar, in a way)

This leash (paired with the matching hills collar) is great so far. I've only had it a week, but both me and my pup like it! I really like that I can easily wear it around my waist- it'd be even better if it offered some padding on this part of the leash. It's comfortable to hold in my hand as well . The color/pattern is great. The clasp seems to be sturdy - a talon clasp would be really cool, though. I also really like the reflective webbing- It has Much more than my other, more expensive leash does. For the price and quality, I would recommend this or buy another. If that changes as I get more wear out of it, I'll update. Can't wait to take it on some hikes with the around waist option. Should make it more fun! Thanks Chaco team! Also, I agree with the other reviewers. Start making some harnesses, please! My pup is a puller so that would be fantastic.

I loved the old leash and its standard metal clasp but this new design although it is easy to attach to a dog collar it can come off. I don't know if this is just my experience but I've had my dog get off the leash multiple times to the point i won't even use this leash anymore. I hope they recall these and return to the old design.
