Works great for the price! Mostly use it in a fairly small area in the house.
Sorry it wasnt what I expected. Retuned it
It works great it gets the room cold and very quickly.
Works great for the room its in. Wish it would just get a bit colder.
Overall, I can say I'm pretty pleased with this unit. I picked this up for my bedroom, which happens to be on the small side. This is more than enough to cool it, and then some. The unit itself isn't too large, not too hard to lift up, and I can say it's easy to move around. Upon unpacking it, I was pleasantly surprised to see it came with a few pieces of insulating foam for the window and a hose to drain the unit. You might need to buy an additional strip of foam, but the provided pieces are pretty handy. Aside from that, setting up the unit is simple and straightforward. Two tips for either end of the hose, one goes in the unit, the other into the window piece. Insulation foam placed in the window, and everything else follows suit. The unit also comes with a remote that includes batteries, which is always nice to have. There aren't much complaints while using the unit - I use all 3 modes depending on how the temperature and humidity conditions are, and the unit swaps between the 3 modes quite quickly. The base cool mode works well, though you should make sure you've properly sealed your window to maximize this. Personally I like to use the fan mode after running the cool function to circulate the air some. The dehumidify mode doesn't get much use compared to the other two, but it does work fairly well. This unit also has a timer feature, which I make use of all the time. It only goes up by increments of an hour, though - which might be something to keep in mind if you're used to something that has the option to use smaller intervals of time. My only gripe really, would be that the unit leans towards the noisy side. I didn't expect it to be silent or anything like that, but it's loud enough to make note of. While it's running, volume on the things I use / listen to have to be boosted by a fair amount. I don't find it noisy enough, however, to interfere with sleep. Though, this is something that'd probably vary from person to person. All in all, I'm happy with it. Keeps me cool, and that's all I really want.
