Easy operation - the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is a bit of inconsistency with the darkness control.
So happy with this purchase. The toaster looks great on the kitchen counter and seems to be of good quality. Toast and bagels come out perfect!
Replaced a Cuisinart 4 slice toaster that wasn't toasting evenly. This one toasts better but not like toasters used to be.
The toaster burns toast easily on low settings. The lever at the front of the toaster has to be pushed down several times to get the bread to stay in the slot. The lever keeps popping up before. the bread can even begin toasting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter bought this toaster as a birthday present for my husband because he was unhappy with his last one. I am a little disappointed that it doesn't toast evenly on both sides. One definitely toasts faster than the other.
