The hinge broke after I used the 4 time. Waiting to see if Cusinart NZ will replace it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful waffle maker, I would definitely purchase again. Highly recommended for sure.
The vertical core is both good and bad. Although it helps and avoiding overspill on a horizontal waffle maker, it result in wasted batter at the top of the waffle maker, where you pour the battery in. You also have to be careful not to make the batter too thick. My waffle recipe includes fluffy makes the pouring of the batter into the unit difficult
Decided to spend a bit more on a waffle maker than I first intended, but totally happy with my purchase. It's pretty easy to clean and they come out perfect every time. Going to take me a few tries to work out the perfect ratio of mix, egg and liquid!
Today was my second use of my new waffle maker. I had difficulty with the first attempt. The batter may have been too thick. This time I made Belgian Waffles from the recipe within the manual. They turned out beautifully! I was very happy! They popped out easily. Much better than the waffle plates I have for my Griddler. Those never worked out. I recommend this kitchen tool!
