Ember - Car Charger - Black

My kids gave me the Ember travel mug for Christmas last year. I travel back and forth across my state often, so I was excited to use the mug and enjoy warm coffee. While I love the mug, its battery lasted only part of one leg of my journey (~90 minutes) and at that point, it becomes a regular mug without an ability to charge it. During one of these trips, I was thinking that it there should be an option to charge it in the car. My initial thought was to make a silicone sleeve with integrated contact points for the mug on the inside and a USB-C port on the outside. After months of traveling and thinking about this, I happened to stumble across Ember's travel charger. Mic dropped. I bought one immediately. The rigid, form fitting charge cup fits snugly in my cars cup holder, allowing effortless remove and consumption of my tasty beverage. If I had any complaint, which I do not, it would be around the integrated, retractable charge cable. I like routing wires in my car cleanly, meaning hiding and tucking away whenever possible and this solution makes that more difficult. I won't modify it yet, so it floats over the shifter console. If you have a travel Ember, you need this as well.

I've only used it once so far but am looking forward to using it more in the future on some long trips I have planed. So far, it works great. It kept my mug charged and the cup fits nicely in my cup holder. Definitely worth the purchase.

I got my Ember Travel Mug as a gift and I loved it! But getting the car charger really elevated my use of it and keeps it warm (despite the fact that my commute has been cut down significantly these past few weeks.) Still I love it!

Amazing product and puts my ember travel mug to good use. I use to complain that the battery wouldn't stay charge as I have a 45 minute commute. Now my ember mug is always charge.

I have used this product to charge my travel mug during a road trip, and I was pleased to have it. The mug itself does not have a long battery life. With this charger, the battery was not an issue for my mug. I can easily recommend this product if they already have the travel mug. It is a little expensive but keeps my drinks a perfect temperature all day long.
