I gave this to my two sons for Christmas, one in preschool and the other in first grade. They both love it. They laughed hysterically when it did the secret code noises, and love the challenge mode. Usually with Christmas presents, they play with it all day and then leave it for a couple weeks. This is day 3 of them playing with it regularly. It's cute and sturdy. Didn't require any putting together. A fantastic toy and great buy.

My children fell in love with this toy as soon as they found it. I didn't give much instruction because I wanted to see what they did with it. They were able to figure out the basic coding program on their own, and after they had tried that out for a while, I introduced some of the other features to them. Overall, this has been a huge hit with both my son and daughter. As a technology teacher, I was very excited to see a toy that provides so much education to children in a fun manner. The only thing I would like to see added to the codebot would be the ability to add a loop to the program. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My 4 year old loved playing with the Kinderbot. The additional parts were of particular interest to my little one. She enjoyed using the parts to create a way to carry her dolls. This allowed her to code a path for the kinderbot to deliver her toys from place to place. As a parent, I liked that it had a very easy interface and was very easy for my daughter to understand how to use it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My 4 year old daughter loves the kinderbot, even my 6 year old loves it. They both love playing with the pre-programmed modes (specifically the shark code and motorcycle code). My 4 year old has a hard time grasping the concept of programming moves to make it go in a specific direction, but I'd imagine that would come with time. Regardless, she still likes to press the buttons to make the kinderbot move around. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My kids absolutely loved this! They love following the instructions and changing up the code. I hope this will be a path for them to want to learn software or at least pique their interest. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
