It's very easy to assemble, not much tools needed. The instructions are very clear. Its fun for the kids to put the stickers on it to decorate it. The motor is kinda loud,my son was scared of it at the beginning, but he got used to it now and he loves riding in it. It goes over rocks and bumps really well,it's a great toy for playing outdoors! My daughter absolutely loves this Lil' Quad! I know it's more of a boy toy, but red is pretty universal so I don't mind and neither does she! It was super easy to put together, and took us less than 10 minutes to put together. Of course my little girl had to help too. She has planned on it for hours on end! She is 18 months old, and it took her less than 5 minutes to figure out how to operate it. We are still working on the turning part, but that's something that takes time to learn. It is also the perfect size for her, not too big and not too little! I would definitely buy this product again, and it would make the perfect gift! I received this toy for free as part of the play, rate and review program and my 3 kids absolutely loved it. First off it's super easy to assemble ,all i had to do was attach the steering wheel and front wheels and all the stickers. It says its for 1 to 2 year old and my 21 month old, 2yr old and even my 4year old were fighting over this toy. It holds up well over all different riding surfaces and is easy to charge. All 3 of my kids figured out how to use it very easily and the quad only goes 3mph so it's very safe. Overall I was very happy and so we're my kids. I would definitely purchase one.
