Just don't put it on the lowest temp setting when you get it because even in the spring it can freeze up. You can hear it freezing up by the rattling sounds. Great A/C!!!

The only thing I would advise is DOUBLE CHECK the contents of the box. We are missing the piece that holds the accordion side panels on top, to secure it to the window lip. It's not an ez piece to find, trust me. And it's too late for a return...*sigh*

I love the electronic controls....it's a lot more efficient than your average 5000 btu unit. Easy to install and light enough to handle. It cools better than I would have thought.

The fan ran but it never put out cool air. We checked everything but after a couple of days of trying, it was returned.

Got a good deal at the end of the season! I was able to use it for the last few hot days of summer! It will cool 350 sq. feet! I like it!
