this review is for THE EXPERT GARDENER GALVANIZED GARDEN WIRE, 16 GUAGE. this roll of wire is 200' feet long(60.9) meters, is tightly wound into a compact size roll. the number 16 guage denotes the actual thick- ness of the wire itself. galvanized wire is made up of a strong durable metal that holds up well in all weather. though the package is labeled GARDEN WIRE, it has multi-uses in and out of the home. the most common use of this galvanized wire is to string it from one metal fence post to the next forming a boundary around gardens or other outdoor projects. ive used this wire to make a trellis for my tomato plants by wrapping one end around a 5 foot wooden stake, and twist the end to secure it. then continue wrapping each stake in succession until you get to the opposite end and encircle the wooden stake with the galvanized wire, make a twist with the wire and then remove the leftover wire using a wire snip. but recently i used this galvanized garden wire inside our home to create a clothes line for our laundry when our dryer stopped working. we placed a hook on opposite sides of the room and then wrapped each end of the wire around the hooks. this EXPERT GARDENER GALVANIZED GARDEN WIRE 16 GUAGE is a dependable wire to use around the home, automobiles, crafts and more.

This wire comes in pretty handy for small jobs around the house. Good for things like binding the garden fence to the uprights to help keep the critters out, the fence around the dog run to keep the critters in (unless you have a 160 lb. Mastiff who's just dying to get at the postman) and lots of other small projects like that. It's great outdoors because it's galvanized, so rust is not a real issue. Don't expect it to hold up the muffler that fell off under the car, it's not heavy duty enough for large and heavy jobs, but it is pretty handy for home stuff.

I was really happy to find this. We grow a lot of tomatoes and make our tomato cages. This the perfect wire to connect the fencing we use to make the cages. Strong yet flexible enough for the task. I'm sure we'll find plenty of other uses for it also.

I was patiently waiting for my roll of Garden wire to come in the mail from Walmart to try out for free. When it came I was excited because I had something in mind to use it for right away. I have a cyclone fence around my yard and I wanted to put up a wood fence around one part of my yard to make it more private. I got the fence made and painted, next I had to find a way to attach it to the cyclone fence. It was time to use my free wire. I drilled some small holes in just the right spots in each wood fence section, stood the fence up next to the cyclone fence, then wired it to the cyclone fence. It worked out perfectly. My fence is strong and sturdy and it looks so nice. I now love my private area of my yard. I then went on Pinterest and saw some solar lights made out of mason jars that I really liked. I decided to make them myself. They had wire handles on them that I thought I could try to make out of the garden wire. With a little trial and error I made the lights myself. I made the handles by poking holes in the jar rings and then looping wire through the holes. I put glass beads in the jars, put the lights in, screwed the ring on, and they look great. Oh, and I spray painted the rings bronze first. I really got good use out of the wire. I highly recommend the Expert Gardener Galvanized Tie Wire.
