Hamilton Beach - Digital Durathon Nonstick Soleplate Iron - BLUE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would get excited over an iron but here we are! I am stuck having to iron my uniform daily for work and never realized just how bad my previous iron was. I was looking for something new when I came across this one and thought it looked pretty sleek and had cool features. Firstly, this iron heats up very quickly, I love the digital display and the steam features are fantastic, I no longer have to constantly refill it with water and wait 10 minutes for it to heat up! I'm very happy with the overall look and performance and will gladly recommend to anyone looking for a quality iron that seems durable and will save them time & money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the best feature would be the extra (80 percent more) steam than other irons, but once I began using it, what I really began to appreciate was the auto-off feature if the iron falls on its side or on its face. My biggest fear is leaving the house, accidentally leaving the iron on and the cat bumps the ironing board and it falls over or off and starts a fire. This iron has given me peace of mind that will not happen! That being said, this iron does a great job, and that extra steam really comes in handy for tough wrinkles! The iron is not all that heavy either, so it is great for people with small hands, like me. While is has not made me suddenly like ironing, it has made it less tedious and time consuming, which is not a bad thing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is very lightweight which was a nice surprise. I really liked the fabric selector (LED) which was very intuitive and handy. When you select what fabric you are going to iron, it stops flashing when it is at the correct temperature. No more guessing when the 'iron is hot' as is the case with so many other irons. I used distilled water; the water chamber is large and you can see the water level under the handle of the iron. The mister function and the steam features worked very well. This iron is amazing on cotton shirts! No scorching, no 'iron smell' and it got out every wrinkle. The only 'negative' was about the self-clean function. There is a little button on the water chamber which says, 'self-clean.' However, in all of the instructions that came with the iron, I couldn't find any reference to this. However, overall this is a fantastic iron and I'd say it is the best one I've ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Durathon Easy Digital Control Iron is a superb quality iron. It has easy to use controls and heats up very quickly. I live that the reservoir for water holds enough and it steams very efficiently. It isn't overly heavy and maneuvers easily. I highly recommend.
