Review is for the pitcher only and not the entire blender unit. I received this blender as a gift and loved it until the pitcher started leaking and left a significant mess. I wish KA would offer a replacement pitcher.
Like many other reviewers, I too have a blender pitcher that has cracked. The cost of replacement is almost that of a NEW blender! I bought this because I had associated Kitchenaid with a quality product. Now I'm not so sure.
I would like to buy just the blade and screw it is so bad to trow away a full pitcher just because of the blade. Just so sad for the environment!
I used the blender a few time and I was blending garbanzo beans the blade broke into 2 pieces came out of the base its very dangers
