[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago to replace my Kenwood handheld blender. I was going to buy another Kenwood but decided buy the KitchenAid one because of the pan guard that comes with it.
Worked great for the first 2 years and then it started shutting down when overloaded( smoothie too thick) After cooling down for a couple of minutes it worked again. It started overloading with less resistance until it only works with thin liquids now. If I try to blend fruit in, it will shut down and need a couple of minutes to cool down.
