KitchenAid Stainless Steel 8-Cup Siphon Coffee Brewer

I hesitated when I read some of the negative reviews but so glad I bought this maker. Coming from years of using drip machines, now I understand what they mean about full, smooth coffee flavour with this method. No issues with the lock into place of the top beacon, afew extra things to clean but worth it. Highly recommend. Would like to stock up on cloth filter though, any info kleenmaid?

When I was in graduate school, in the late 1960's, my professor introduced us to the wonders of making coffee in a Silex vacuum coffee maker. It was the best coffee I ever had. Fast forward to 2016 and the Kitchenaid siphon coffee maker. My son gave me this coffee maker for Christmas after hearing, for years, my raving about the coffee I had from the Silex maker. I can tell you, I was not disappointed. Not only did this coffee maker bring back fond memories but aslo madeone helluva cup of coffee. If you love coffee made from freshly ground beans, this is the machine for you. It's easy to use, easy to clean and produces perfect results.

I enjoy this style of brewing as it produces a very favorable coffee. The issue I have with this product is it does not have a mode to keep the coffee hot after brewing. If making a full pot, you need to transfer the coffee to a thermos if you don't serve it all within a short time

Takes a few tries to nail down. Seems to be sensitive to how fine your coffee grounds are to get the exact kind of coffee you prefer. Of course how much coffee is placed in to the top carafe. Once you have it figured out you'll get a consistent perfect cup.
