Luma Comfort | Countertop Clear Ice Maker | 28 lbs. Daily |Stainless Steel

I got this because my Indoor freezer Icemaker failed and only way to fix it, is to replace the whole door (per manufacturer). This was obviously much cheaper option, and so far I can completely fill my ice tray in my Freezer in 2 hours when it would take nearly a full day to do so previously. It kicks out 2 or 3 bricks of ice per hour and so far has easily kept up with demand. I made some ice in preparation for a party and took 3 hours to make nearly 1 Fluid gallon of Ice. Assuming it remains functional for a few years it will be will worth the purchase. Only downside is cleaning of the primary reservoir is a bit tricky as the hole is a bit small for "man sized" hands. But if you keep it dry and covered when not in use, cleaning is infrequent.

I purchased my first Luma Comfort Countertop Clear Ice Maker for our first RV 3 years ago. This ice maker does a great job of producing ice to fill your cooler for a day at the beach or pool. We have had no issues with our original ice maker. We liked it so much we bought a second for the house bar area.

The is a great ice maker and I have recommended it to several of my friends and family. It meets all their specifications and their technical team is the best I've ever dealt with. When I had an issue with my ice maker they answered my e-mail in two hours and were able to take care of my problem the very same day. If you're looking for an icemaker this is the one to buy.

For the most part this is a good machine. My only complaint is that where the ice is stored Does not seem to be refrigerated so the ice melts faster than expected.

I bought this 28 lb ice maker about a year ago. My whole family loves it. I have purchased other ice makers in the past. I was disappointed with all of them. I have not been disappointed by the ice this one makes. I would buy it again where as I wouldn't buy any of the others again. My only issue with this ice maker came recently after I unplugged it to clean it. When I plugged it back in, the water now drains from the back reservoir to front. It stays there. It will completely drain all water from back, even if this overflows everywhere. I have turned it off, unplugged it for a while to allow it to reset and I even cleaned it again (including the filters /screens). I'm not sure what else to try. I can't afford to have a repairman look at it. I also no longer have my proof of purchase for the warranty. Plus it's right at the one year mark. I would definitely recommend this ice machine to anyone looking for a nice small family size ice maker!
